The best restaurants in Tramore

02/07/2025: Lovely old style family run bar. Great variety of beers and spirits on offer at very reasonable prices. If you like a good sing song Robinson's is the go to spot.

29/06/2025: O'Neills Bar Tramore Located on Summerhill at the top of Tramore. There is plenty of parking available on the street, and in the nearby car park on Priests Road. The premises are located over 2 buildings, the left hand side being O'Neil's Bar, and the right hand side being Mol's Restaurant. There is a step up to access Mol's, but wheelchairs etc can easily access the restaurant going through the pub, which is all on one level. Although in the O’Neil Family for many years, both O’Neil’s Bar, and Mol’s Restaurant have undergone major refurbishment and modernisation, done to a very good standard. Mol's also provides several areas available to hire for private functions, and boasts a spectacular outside area. The Staff in O’Neil’s and Mol's are very attentive, and well trained to a high standard, if you are just in for a quick light bite, or a lunch/evening meal, you are served in a brisk, friendly, efficient manner. The food here is absolutely lovely, and the Sunday Carvery offers great value for money, although due to its popularity, some carvery items often sell out as the day goes on, so be sure to get in at a good time. A good place to visit in Tramore where you can enjoy a drink before or after your meal in O'Neil's Bar, the food is consistently good, and they can cater for large or small groups. 29/03/2026: 4 of us had dinner in the Pier last night, for my sisters birthday . The food, the wine, the service was absolutely top notch, fab atmosphere and ambience. Thanks a million. We will be back .

15/03/2026: Stunning restaurant, food was amazing. The team there last night were superb, friendly, organised and so welcoming. The decor is spot on and the wine extensive. When back in the area this will be our place to go. Thank you once again to all the team!

28/07/2025: Let my nephew in after 9.00pm. Myself and my brother couldn't get in anywhere else, so respect to The Old Forge Bar. No we were on holidays by the way.

27/08/2025: Such a lovely spot in Tramore! The Surf Hut has a really relaxed, seaside vibe with amazing views across the beach. The coffee is excellent, the snacks are fresh, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Perfect place to stop after a surf or a walk on the beach. Highly recommend! 🌊☕✨

19/02/2026: Supposed to be a pub but it's just a restaurant, was much better the way it was a few years ago ☹

12/04/2026: Paid €170 for a night here, arrived to be told we were in “the second building”. Walked into the second building and it was practically and old run down building, we were put in room 6, there was a gap under the door about 4-5inches, the door handle of the bathroom was falling off, and the room was on a complete slant, there was x2 single beds that looked like something from a sims game, the Lino in the bathroom was coming up and there was a window “slightly frosted” meaning there was ZERO privacy. We weren’t in the room 5 minutes and I went back to reception and credit where it’s due, they were very quick to change us into “the main hotel” as it was put. When we got into the room, it was very very out dated, burns in the carpets and just over all a waste of €170. I understand a room is a room and it’s a place to stay, but for €170 a night for two people for the sake of location it’s not worth it with the Majestic a stone throw away. Breakfast was included, a full Irish was about €15 with a tea or coffee, was standard enough, but again, not worth the money paid for one single night. Completely disappointed and highly annoyed at the rates this place is getting and how they will firstly try and put you in a side building away from the hotel for €170. The first three photos included are from the second room and the last two is gap and door handle of the first room. I’m sure the atmosphere in the bar is fantastic, but as a place to stay honestly keep your money and put it towards somewhere else as this is a complete waste.

28/03/2026: What a jewel by the sea, a traditional hotel with everything you could possibly want! Food was excellent and reasonable, staff were helpful and pleasant! Highly recommend a visit or ten!
