03/02/2026: Staff were wonderful, food was really good. Rooms are a bit tired, need a revamp. Bed not very comfortable

02/02/2026: We had our wedding reception at the Upton Court Hotel 21/01/2026, and from start to finish the experience was absolutely amazing. Shane and all of the staff were incredible, so professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire process. All dietary requirements were catered for without any fuss, and the food was outstanding, with many compliments from our guests. The guest rooms were nice and very comfortable, again receiving lots of positive feedback. From the moment of arrival, there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel that put everyone at ease. A very special thank you to Shane for all of his support, guidance, and attention to detail, nothing was ever too much trouble, and it truly made our day stress-free and unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend Upton Court Hotel highly enough. Joseph & Anastasia

Kate's Coffee Shop & Deli

04/09/2025: We came for lunch and ordered 3 cappuccinos, a hot chocolate and 3 dishes. It took almost 15 mins to get our coffee, which was cold. Our food took forever to come and when it came only 2/3 dishes arrived at the same time. The açai bowl took another 7 or 8 minutes but that was then taken off our bill due to the inconvenience. The tables around is were not cleared for the hour we sat there and the table we got was not wiped before we were seated. Food was okay

30/08/2025: We just left, 4 of os went for a lunch, my warm goat cheese salad was amazing im fussy about food as Im working i hospitality but quality and size was just amazing, French toast perfect, pure gold-amazing, plus my daughter was able to add as much of syrop and bacon as she wish instead have everything plated, soup and toasties sandwich perfect same as bacon and chicken sandwich with plenty of side salad and crisps, our requirements for no mayo wasnt forgot 😍 highly recommended place 🤩

01/08/2025: I had heard that this place was excellent. It’s far from that. We ordered chips and kebabs. The amount of sauce on the kebabs was ridiculous. It was pouring out. The pitta breads were saturated and fell apart. I can only imagine that it was in order to cover up the dryness of the doner meat. The chips were obviously reheats and tasted old. Never again. We threw most of it away and what we did eat made us feel sick.

12/01/2026: Golden Dragon, Kilmuckridge The woman behind the counter showed appalling customer service. As a regular trying to pay by card for a munch box, I was rudely told there’s a €15 minimum and it’s cash only — “you should know this by now.” On another occasion, after being charged extra for sauce, I had to walk back to my car in pouring rain. When I returned soaking wet, she had the nerve to laugh at me. This behaviour is humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. After seeing numerous bad reviews, I’m shocked this place is still allowed to operate. I will never set foot here again.

28/12/2025: Great local Chinese takeaway. Lovely food and friendly staff. Delivery is fast and Excellent value. Highly recommend.
