08/03/2025: Paddy was our chief for the evening. I started with the King Prawns and knew the rest of the courses were going to be great but I didn’t expect what was coming next. The beef was the most tender I have ever been served. Absolutely delicious. With a sitting for 8, everyone raves about their meals as much as I did. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and spacious with a super staff and very efficient service. 5 Stars for sure.

11/10/2025: First of all, the service is AMAZING. The waiter was so sweet! He made little silly jokes like 'I got your fish fresh from the sea' and 'I got the seashells at the beach for ya'. Defo recommend coming here.

16/09/2024: terrible service new lady forgot my order then accused me for not paying she was forgetting multiple people's orders in line too. Didnt seem trained shouldnt be left alone in the stall to mess up everyones orders

30/08/2024: We need this chippie where I live. Fast, cheap, convenient and very very tasty. Best fish & chips in a very long time. The lady who served us was very accommodating and the nicest. Cod & chips and bread & butter on a bench watching the sea. Wonderful

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

04/08/2025: This place is nice, and the food and coffee are great. However, the only thing that really lets it down is the customer service. It felt like the staff assumed that because the shop is busy, they don't need to be polite or accommodating. While I was sitting and enjoying my coffee, I was repeatedly asked if I was finished and if they could take the cutlery. Even after I had finished and handed over my cup, I sat for a few more minutes — only to be questioned by the staff about whether I had even ordered anything. Apparently, the manager saw me sitting without a coffee on the camera and sent someone over to ask for my receipt. The food and coffee here are amazing, but the customer service is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced.

02/08/2025: Ante todo diré que el café está bien. El servicio puede mejorar y la organización también. No dejaron subir a mi mujer a la terraza de la planta superior hasta que no tenemos la consumición en la mano, y tuvimos que hacernos una hora de cola, porque en Bray había un evento de las Fuerzas Aéreas. No tiene sentido porque arriba hay gente que no está consumiendo nada desde que nos sentamos. Precio-calidad-organización, si cabe mejorable.

05/09/2025: Hello, Today I went to the gas station and asked the staff to exchange €2 so I could wash my car. He refused and told me that €2 is not enough, and that I must pay at least €8. This was frustrating because I only needed a quick wash, and I don’t think it’s fair to refuse the exchange or to impose a minimum amount without informing customers clearly. 01/08/2023: DON'T ORDER FROM HERE! They are closed down, They didn't do any admin for their site or any 3rd party applications, I put an order in for €50 only to find out they were closed down when the order didn't confirm for 10 minutes. No update to any of their information other than a handwritten sign on the door of the shop. I'm currently talking with the Garda to get this money back to my account as this is effectively fraud.
