21/04/2025: Second time Iv been and second time the chips are awful. Reheated chips, they must cook them in the morning and reheat. The fish also had the skin left on 🤷🏼‍♀️Our whole table said the same and not impressed. Especially for the price. It's the lazy option. The fish and chip shop down the road is much better where you get REAL chips!

10/06/2025: Actually the most horrible man running this takeaway, called him to make an order and was extremely rude from the get go. I called back after a long wait for my order and this is how it went
“Hi I just wanted to check if my order is on the way,”
“YOU HAVE TO WAIT, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WAIT” - peter (the owner)

he shouted at me through the phone and seems to be unhinged.. I would not recommend this place unless being verbally abused and very literally screamed at is your thing.. If I could give a 0, I would
05/06/2025: Worst curry chips I’ve ever had. Don’t know what sort of “curry sauce “ it was but it was more like yellow water and very little of it. Fairly stingey on the chips too.

03/06/2025: Beautiful location right on sea front, menu has such a selection so it was hard to choose!
Service was prompt and food was beautifully presented and absolutely gorgeous!
Waiting staff were fantastic, going above and beyond to deliver fantastic customer service, making everyone feel more than welcome!
My now most favourite restaurant that I cannot wait to return! We have visited this area so much over the years and have eaten in so many hotels and restaurants but without doubt this is the best!

21/04/2025: Horrendous takeaway, waited far too long for the food as there seemed to only be 1 worker, never go there if you are in a rush as the wait time was 40mins to 1 hour.

26/01/2025: I ordered a takeaway tonight, it arrived one hour after ordering ( that was not the problem) I understand that they were very busy. The guy taking the order couldn’t have been nicer he was extremely polite and friendly, however when the food arrived it was lukewarm the temperature that you would feed to a baby! When I rang to inform the restaurant that the food was lukewarm, I was put on to a Chinese man that was extremely rude,he asked me what I wanted him to do about it! I informed him that I wasnt looking for a freebie and that I just wanted to let them know that the food was cold and that maybe I was the last on the delivery list ( I live 10 minutes away from the shop ) and to my utter shock and disbelief he said “ I don’t believe you,you must be lying! ) Unbelievable!!! Never again. Back to Bennys for me.

08/03/2025: Paddy was our chief for the evening.
I started with the King Prawns and knew the rest of the courses were going to be great but I didn’t expect what was coming next.
The beef was the most tender I have ever been served. Absolutely delicious.
With a sitting for 8, everyone raves about their meals as much as I did.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and spacious with a super staff and very efficient service.
5 Stars for sure.

18/05/2025: Terrific coffee, teas, and eats. Great staff. Very friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. From the second floor terrace you can look out over The Strand and the Bray Seafront. Not a coincidence we made it here every day for our start!
