The best restaurants in Bray

05/06/2026: Terrible. The value for money is very poor. We booked breakfast, which was served in a cold, uninviting room reminiscent of a train station waiting room. The tables were empty; there wasn't even a napkin or plate. Very unfriendly and unpleasant. The coffee was watery. Staff were standing against the wall picking their noses. There were refugees eating nearby. It would have been helpful to know that we were staying in a refugee shelter. Absolutely not recommended.

02/06/2026: A clean and quiet hotel, unfortunately I didn't tolerate the food well.

30/06/2026: Best Chinese takeaway in Bray. The staff are lovely and delivery never been delayed. One day I ordered for delivery but then as I had to go out anyway I said I'd pick it up. They refunded my delivery fee even though I said it was grand. I always order the crispy chilli chicken and it's always good, their prawn toast is excellent too.

29/05/2026: The best munch box i have had to date 😋

19/09/2026: Not too bad at all, quite a good looking place, they even have karaoke, good service too

18/09/2026: The blonde lady behind the bar was lovely to me and my dog after being turned away by another pub just before it. I had 2 pints of beautiful guinness I didn’t have any food but felt an mis justice to down mark the pub due to the fact I didn’t order any. Will be back soon.

19/09/2026: Sandy ( the owner) has a problem with EVERYONE when she's not there it's a great place runs smoothly, great banter, good company or if ypu want to sit on your own no one bothers you and staff are great, when she is there staff seem on edge, it's a rush to get the drinks out, as a result sloppy pints mistakes made with prices etc seems like everyone Is on edge when she's there

18/04/2026: Quiet pub with a good pint of Guinness. Plenty of screens and seems to be a place to watch sport

24/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing food and super fresh pizza! 🍕 Everything tasted delicious, and my order was delivered in less than 20 minutes. The staff were incredibly friendly, and Rajdeep was an absolute delight — so welcoming, helpful, and pleasant. This was my first time ordering from Apache Pizza, and I was really impressed. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

13/08/2026: I have ordered a Donal hoagie and when I got home and tasted it was very salty. Next time when doing the food for customers don’t add salt or other condiments as customers can do that themselves when they get home. I’ve got Donal hoagies from here before but I never had this problem. Tell the chefs to NOT add salt or any other condiments without the customer’s request.

24/05/2026: No rice or drink. Paid for a meal deal that was advertised to have rice and a drink. No rice or drink.

11/09/2026: Swear got banned for some reason I didn't do nothing didn't even go there and I got banned god's sake

10/09/2026: Manager very helpful will deffo eat here again bird in a bun is beautiful and chips always very fresh

03/10/2026: My Pregnant wife ordered food from Uber and status changed after 15 20 mins, Preperation to It's on the way. After 1 hour she called they straight away said It's on the way, apparently they lying without even checking the system. After 20 mins she called again. They said sorry we will get back to you and they didn't. After 10 mins she called again they said we didn't see the system. They never checked Uber side. After perfect finally. They just cancelled. More then 1 and a half hour, multiple lies, no food, frivolous behavior towards a pregnant woman and leaving her to starve and making her mad. I hope some people will see my comment and if they are in between, hope they will choose another place. Since nothing will change at the end, hope some will not eat from here🙏 Update; I wrote there. They said we willlooki into it 😂nothing, zero, nada

24/07/2026: I’d like to share my experience with this terrible establishment, the woman on the phone taking down our order was very ignorant and disrespectful to my partner. As I was trying to order a gluten free pizza and add ann extra topping as they don’t allow this service on their app. Whilst on the phone the Women working the phone today was hanging up on me while I was talking. And proceeded to block my partners phone number, all I was trying to ask if it was possible to add an additional topping on my partners pizza due to her allergies which has been no issue any previous time while ordering. The customer service was unacceptable and the ignorance from blocking my partners number which I had to call on my personal number to try make sure that the order was taking down properly. So, I won’t have to deal with any allergic reactions and following a trip to a hospital. It takes one person to cause an emergency trip to the hospital and with the lack of care from this place it could’ve happened. And also forgetting several items, Terrible cop on from these…

19/04/2026: Food was decent and delivered within a reasonable time but the 2 times I have ordered from them, I have been abused down the phone by their delivery drivers claiming I have given an address and when they arrived both times, I was able to point out on the order sheet they had where the address was. No apologies, nothing! Will never order again as a result of this

18/04/2026: Had a really nice time in this place. Love the ambience, vibes and food

26/06/2026: Avoid at all costs food was pure muck reheated shit Avoid at all costs

31/03/2026: This is just awful.. I gave this place a second chance and my order just slipped out of the staff's hands onto the floor😡

30/08/2026: Perfect food and great to let passengers have a bite to eat on the drive home if your visiting and so long trading here you know its got to be good. Traditional fish and chips at its best

30/05/2026: I live locally and have only rarely used it as the food can be very ordinary. Actually stopped going there after two successive visits with really poor portions of chips. Thought that the first time was just an unfortunate mistake. Tried it again last night. First time in a while. Chips were grand, portion size still a bit scabby but not as bad. Fresh cod was poor, battered ok but fish inside was dry and tasteless. Also got onion rings. Oh my God, they have to be the worst thing I have ever eaten from a chipper. Basically a thick wedge of an onion battered, disgusting. Why mess with the easiest, highest profit food going? Break up the onion, batter them and fry, like a normal chipper! Only positive I'd say is the staff, they are friendly and the wait wasn't too bad for a Friday evening. I won't be rushing back.

03/08/2026: 10/10 great service, good food!

19/05/2026: The portion size is medium, taste would be okay. Unfortunately the 80% of the kebab trays is potato, so it is very underwhelming. It is not worth it. Probably will not order from them again.

28/08/2026: Great food. Lovely staff. Arrived on time 🙌🏻👏

29/03/2026: Very friendly, especially to older people

29/05/2026: Wouldn't say that it's the worst chipper, but will say my husband tossed the dog a chip - the dog then puked, pulled the chip out of the vomit, then set the chip to the side before eating the rest of his vomit. The story alone is worth the 5*s

14/05/2026: I'm going to be honest, San Marino Bray was never really that great, and it's on a continuous decline. The last few times I've ordered from here, the chips have NOT been fresh. Everything else is mediocre at best. I can recommend San Marino Bray as a last resort, as there are better takeaways around.

20/08/2026: Hard to know how or when a collection order is ready. No one on the desk, no indication on the order panel, no bell to ring - probably expect customers are telepathic. And that’s why I give 1 star for service. And I know it’s pizza

25/07/2026: Waited 45 mins, pizzas cold. Poor service. Expensive
