01/03/2026: I have had dinner hear many times in the past and it was always a pleasure but it was so bad this time I had to change the review I left before. On our latest visit I think it was the worst service I think I have had in a restaurant in Ireland. The food when we received it was excellent. But what should haven been a two hour visit tuned into a 3 and a half hour affair. Their was lots of staff but only one seemed to be doing anything including taking our order clearing the table the rest of the staff where busy talking.It was such a bad service I don't think I would return.

26/12/2025: Went here as it was one of the few places open on 26/12 with vegan options. Except they had practically no food and, of course, no vegan options. Only cheese toastie and sausage rolls. It was close to 11am and it was full, but nowhere did it say they were working with limited options. In the end reading the reviews I'm glad I went somewhere else.

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

MANGER VERY RUDE AND DIDNT WANT TO HELP. BRLIVR HER NAME WAS OGLA OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPEND SO WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN

30/01/2026: Such good service from Neil, phoned and discussed problem, given a date, dropped car off and had it back by the end of the day as promised and at a very competitive rate. Would highly recommend and certainly will be my first port of call going forward, excellent.

20/01/2026: Amazing -- I have gone to this garage over many many years,so do friends & family. 1 mechanic, so when calling if he's busy or shut on a Friday(non of my business as it could be personal matters) We just ask for a time & date which is avaliable, simple. Then, jobs done to a great standard. Pricing is reasonable, too. Shall return.

15/11/2025: Great place to have breakfast! It was delicious! Very good price too.

07/08/2025: Great portion size and coffee flavour. Milk was well frothed. Presentation can be improved, sides of cups could have been wiped clean. Toilets were sufficiently clean. Didn't order any food. Mostly visited by older people, and there is a friendly chatty atmosphere. Large seating area.

15/03/2026: Asked if extra onions on my spice bag they gave me 2 onions live 8 mins away and took an hour to deliver and the foods dry out

03/03/2026: I've ordered from these over the years when bennys is closed, hoping the last time I ordered was a "once off" but it's always the same. Absolutely awful food, its like they are trying to cut every corner and serve you the bare minimum to save as much money as possible. The "egg" fried rice has basically no egg in it, nothing. The curry is watery. The batter on chicken balls is stale, not to mention they are tiny. They used to be good when I was a kid, not anymore...

17/09/2025: In terms of what's there it's grand...decent offering. Wowburger needs to be about 60% smaller and badly needs a cinema to have a chance. Honestly if they could get the cinema sorted and some nice outdoor features, it would be a brilliant addition
