The best restaurants in Bray

19/11/2025: Had a lovely meal last night with my boyfriend. The ribs are a must have and one of the best chicken and sweetcorn soups we've had! Cantonese duck and special fried rice were also divine, and adored the service!! <3

01/10/2025: I ordered a soup and chow mein yesterday, by delivery. I got the food in, more or less, an hour (which wasn't too bad). But when I started to eat the food itself, I was very dissapointed. Asian cuisine, especially the Chinese and Japanese ones, are my favorite. And this was one of the rare times I was unable to even eat something. Sorry, but not recommend and I will not come back.

17/01/2026: Buyer beware, they sometimes charge you an extra 50 cents for no reason. They do not inform you of this extra 50 cent charge beforehand. This happens when ordering and pistachio ice cream. I only realized I was scammed after I received the receipt.

28/12/2025: Great spot on Bray front, short hop from the beach. Plenty of street parking, quick service. Indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly. Courteous, professional staff, reasonable prices.

26/12/2025: Went here as it was one of the few places open on 26/12 with vegan options. Except they had practically no food and, of course, no vegan options. Only cheese toastie and sausage rolls. It was close to 11am and it was full, but nowhere did it say they were working with limited options. In the end reading the reviews I'm glad I went somewhere else.

18/01/2026: Its a ok fast food place but just not the best, it kinda is expensive and the food tastes good, the service was also good and so was the atmosphere good, i would say its good.

14/12/2025: Ordered food from here, waited over an hour with the service saying the food is on the way only for it to be cancelled with no explanation. Two hungry children crying.

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

07/08/2025: Great portion size and coffee flavour. Milk was well frothed. Presentation can be improved, sides of cups could have been wiped clean. Toilets were sufficiently clean. Didn't order any food. Mostly visited by older people, and there is a friendly chatty atmosphere. Large seating area.

11/11/2025: Lovely helpful staff, lots of free parking, and a lovely breakfast. Not the best spot if you're wanting easy walking access to the main things of Bray. Also not the best spot if your brain is the size of a walnut, you're aroused by flags, and are easily duped by AI videos which some of the reviewers of this hotel clearly are.

01/12/2025: I went here with my husband and 2 kids it felt dirty and just unpleasant the food was horrible honestly,it came cold,drinks were fine but definitely don’t recommend coming here and WORST PART I GOT FOOD POISONING!!! Very upset about this please be careful if you are eating here DO NOT RECOMMEND
