51 Cornmarket in Cork

5 of us had a lovely evening meal here. The restaurant is small but light and comfortable. It was busy even at 18:30 on Saturday evening. To start we had the crab and n’duja bao, duck liver pate, & ceviche. As my main I had the amazing burrata with cucumber and tomatoes with delicious minty pesto-type dressing and chunky chips The others at my table all had the hake and mussels. Everything was fantastic. I had the flourless chocolate cake with boozy cherries and vanilla icecream- OMG it was devine!

We just had a spectacular meal here. Really delicious food, very nice service, couldn't fault it. We probably ordered too much food (one dish each off each section plus a couple of sides) but every dish was gorgeous! We'll definitely be back!

Great quality food, not pretentious. My partners dish, the crab bun was one of the best things she ever tasted. Good quality food in a nice atmosphere. Lovely servers. High quality veg and meat. Five stars

Made a booking online and had a special request. The owner replied back to me in minutes even though she was on holidays. Fantastic service. I had our Christmas party here last year and the food and service was superb. Excited to do it all again next week.

I was smiling ear to ear from when I entered 51, and for hours after I left. I genuinely believe this is the best restaurant in Cork (born & bred here)! The owners have really created an amazing dining experience. If I had a large enough stomach I would have ordered one of everything to taste. The service is picture perfect & professional, the atmosphere is soo comfortable. There’s an array of top wines to choose from. 100/10

Really enjoyed my meal here dinner. Especially the starters, the pickled mussels were full of flavour, and the dressed oyster was fantastic. Mains were tasty but a touch on the salty side. Overall, great ingredients with listed provenance and lovely presentation. Would recommend.

This was quite possibly our favorite restaurant in Ireland. Do not miss if you’re in Cork. The space was small and the service was amazing. Don’t pass up the opportunity to try their pickled mussels, and I had the best Irish coffee here!

Excellent food and wine. Very friendly. It has become one of our favourite Cork City spots.

Nice non-alcoholic sparkling wine. The mushroom tagliatelle had too much pepper but was otherwise pretty tasteless. The steak was medium rare on the inside but overly charred outside.
