56 Central in Galway

Sooooo good food, and friendly staff 😍 Highly recommend

56 Central is one of my favourite spots in Galway. I always bring my friends and family here when we're out and stuck for somewhere to eat. It's great for breakfast or lunch, loads of great options. On this particular day I went for the pancakes, they were lovely. The pancakes were fluffy, and with the berries and mascarpone it was a perfect combination that wasn't too sweet. My dad went for the breakfast brioche, he's not very descriptive, but he said it was good, which is high praise coming from him. The interior is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and attentive, the food is always delicious. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Best toasties in Galway. The turkey stuffing sandwich was superb.

So impressed with everything here! It was so busy but they managed the queue really well and our group of 7 were seated very quickly. The Turkey Melt (Christmas Sandwich) is a 10/10. Highly recommend for lunch in town!

Disappointed with what was available for a mid-morning visit - no scones or pastries, just a breakfast menu. This place used to be better than that!

Staff are super friendly, got the brownie was super yummy and came out quick. Music was great aswell

What I most appreciate about this place is the consistency. The quality of food and service is one of the best you can get in Galway. Never once we have been disappointed in food or the atmosphere. To the point that we actually do not bother with any other places whenever we visit Galway. I especially recommend the chicken Cajun salad 👍

Food here is excellent. My favorite is the Cajun Chicken Salad.

Friendly staff, great food, great service. Good place to go, especially if you are just arriving in Galway and want a place to eat while you plan your trip.
