We had a great experience in this Bar. We went for breakfast with my husband and our toddler. They provided a high chair and colouring pencils to distract my child. The food was very nice and generous portions, the coffee and tea were included with the breakfast deal. Great value for money. We will go back, definitely.
Absolutely fabulous. Food was amazing. Hospitality was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

The food was amazing as it was named pub of the year for 2023
The service was excellent, and the staff were polite and attentive. The place is great as it leans towards food service and Bill Chawkes is more of a pub

Good food with good selection of pub food. Traditional plenty of wood with a homely feel but open plan. Tables not too crammed together and wheel chair access appears good throughout. Friendly staff. Parking on street or if busy there is a car park quite nearby.

My daughter and I stopped here after an afternoon exploring Adare’s quaint streets - the perfect end to our outing. We were immediately greeted by a waitress who made up for her short stature with an abundance of friendliness. She was quick to put our minds at ease when we expressed we were worried about not seeing gluten free options on the menu.
We asked about the soup of the day, and when she noticed my daughter looked a bit unsure about a curried vegetable soup, she offered to bring a sample so that she could taste and see if she liked it before we committed to it. It was even better than she said it would be. She was also the first waitress we’ve had understand what we mean when we asked for ‘loads of butter.’ I’ve never had such well-buttered bread in a restaurant before.
We had a wonderful experience here, and I can’t wait to bring my husband.

Locale molto frequentato, ma tranquillo, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della cena. Ottimi i piatti di zuppa irlandese di pesce ed il classico Fish and Chips, gentilissima la ragazza che ci ha serviti.

Aunt Lena's Pub is an institution in Adare, County Limerick. Truly, it is a LOCAL pub in one of the prettiest villages in Ireland. It has been named the "Irish Pub of the Year" in Ireland in 2023. Visitors will find patrons of all ages here. Suggest that tourists should blend into the local scene. Menu is pub food. The craic is grand so if you do not like noise this may not be the place for you. Often, there is live music in the backroom. Please enjoy.
