We had no reservation. The place looked busy which is a good sign. Super welcoming staff who sat us immediately. Couldn't be nicer. The food was incredible. The prawn noodle dish was insanely delicious and my partner had the fisherman's pie which was equally amazing. We will most definitely be back. Thanks Austies. The fact fleetwood mac The Chain came on the sound system increased my love of this spot. Loved it.

Superb service. Very popular place so book in advance. Varied menu - not too much for vegetarians. Desert great. The quality and speed of service ranks amongst the top few I’ve experienced.

Excellent bacon ribs, superb sauce really tasty, very friendly and lovely staff, pizza heavy on cheese and teenager had no complaints, liked it. Husband had turkey and ham and v v tasty, brilliant. I had prawn linguine at nearly 30 euros. At even 10 it would have been poor tbh. Lovely prawns and salmon cooked, heavy cream, then scallions, tomatoes all apparently uncookedand linguine over -cooked. No flavour, just stodgy pasta. Like something from 40 years ago tbf. I mean please m .chef, taste it and see. I wouldn't mind but the bill on it and I ate the fish and uncooked veg only cos rest was not nice. Said lime and white wine reduction? Really?? No way, just cream added to fish and uncooked veg. Not an actual recipe or dish. I cook for my family everyday and I could do better which isn't saying much. Pasta sauce should be light and tasteful, not that hard. Sad to feel ripped off at a lovely pub but will probably avoid now. Everything else really good but not hard to learn how to cook pasta.

The Driftwood

02/06/2025: We were looking for a dinner spot during the bank holiday weekend without having made a booking. This place fit us in despite being busy. Absolutely lovely staff. We got the tuna steak, fish and chips and for dessert the cookie skillet and ricotta cheesecake. The mains were simply beautiful, especially the tuna. The fish batter could have been more crispy but that's just a personal preference. Chips were also stunning. The desserts came on comically big plates and the actual quality of food was good. Not as delicious as the main meals but good all the same.
30/05/2025: Have had a few meals here now and have to say staff are great and the food is lovely. My favourite dish being the chicken wings 🥰can't comment on rooms as we didn't stay there

The Little Cottage Cafe

02/06/2025: Banging 💕 came here twice for breakfast over the bank holiday weekend. Got the breakfast bap and pancakes with poached fruit and yoghurt on the first day. The bap was standard enough but the pancakes were unbelievable. The second day we both got granola bowls and iced coffee's. Get these. Get them lads. They are unreal. I've never enjoyed a granola bowl and an iced chai latte like I did here. 10/10 recommended. Cute little spot also with lovely staff.
26/05/2025: Looking for a late lunch on a wet afternoon, the little cottage provided a comfortable, clean warm place, with happy professional staff. The sandwiches were all excellent, both coffees and hot chocolate very good and my wife rated the millionaires shortbread as the best she ever paid for. Still another three days left in Sligo, so we could be back again!
