Azzurro in Dunmore east

Popped in here recently whilst on a family trip to the area, 2 adults 2 kids 8 & 4. We as a couple had a great experience in this restaurant 8.5 yrs prior so we thought we’d give it a go. It didn’t disappoint. No booking no problem, nice little table. Colours for the kids from get go, very attentive staff. We only had mains so can only guess how good the starters may have been. Mains were tops. Kids then walked over to the ice cream counter were a very patient staff member called out each ice cream flavour. A must visit for food, comfy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Hoping it won’t be years again I return 😊

We had a fabulous evening at Azzurro. We were staying in Waterford and fancied heading out to Dunmore East. We got the Stracciatella and foccacia for starter which were both amazing 😍 we had the penne azzurro and the chicken parm for main. The star of the show was the salted caramel inverted cheesecake 🤤 service was fantastic and such good value for money. Less than €100 for starters, main, dessert and a drink. Looking forward to returning already! Highly recommend.

Found this place once by mistake and after that we have tried them several times! Food is always lovely and they have such amazing gluten free options! A must!

I had such a wonderful experience at Azzurro in Dunmore East! From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, with a beautiful seaside setting that makes it perfect for both a special occasion and a casual night out. The food was outstanding. The pizzas are thin, fresh, and full of flavor

Great place and has maintained standards year on year

This restaurant is top class. Pizzas to die for as well as heavenly desserts. Peroni on draft and fab coffee also. Pleasant and efficient staff. Can’t recommend highly enough

Myself, my girlfriend and her family have spent two of the last four nights here at Azzurro, and it has been absolutely wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. They accommodated our big group with ease and made our evening really enjoyable! We ended up staying a lot longer than we had planned because the atmosphere was so enjoyable!would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Very over priced starter of langostines 2.5 for 16€ was ridiculous! Five VERY small bites of food. Who does the pricing for this dish - not a good choice! Dish was nice but So overpriced for what it was! Main course was better - monk fish ok but nothing special. Pizza in x2 party was good. Some extra training of staff would help - important to make customers welcome. Good food but could be so much better if priced correctly and served with a smile .

I was served by a lovely waitress named Sophia, she was extremely pleasant and gave excellent recommendations about the menu. I would recommend this restaurant highly, I also recommend tipping Sophia extensively.
