First visit for a sit in meal (had got takeaway pizzas before) and it was delicious. Fresh delicious food, good atmosphere. Will be going back again.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. I’d definitely recommend if going out with a big family. the service was great and when my food came later than my other family members I got a free drink and they were very apologetic about it. I got the kids pesto spaghetti and prawns and the portion was perfect as it wasn’t too big or too small. 10/10 restaurant.

Azzurro in Dunmore East is a fantastic dining experience, offering Italian-inspired food in a beautiful coastal setting(definitely go for a walk around either before or after).The food is fresh, and just lovely. The friendly and attentive staff create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are there for a family meal, a special occasion, or a relaxed evening by the sea, Azzurro consistently delivers excellent food, great service, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended and worth the experience

5 stars, it was amazing, margherita pizza was amazing, nice texture rich but not too rich. The Service was at its finest when I got there, The manager came and checked how we were doing about 2 times and servers 2 aswell. Atmosphere was good aswell everyone was quiet and kind weren't many people. So I bet if Gordon ramsay came he would rate it 5 stars

The Strand Inn

28/05/2026: Visited with my family for food and drinks only, not the hotel stay. The location and views are absolutely beautiful — on a sunny day it genuinely felt more like being somewhere in Spain than Ireland. The atmosphere and seaside setting are definitely the highlight of this place. Unfortunately, the food and service did not match the location. The prices were quite high for the quality received — for example, the fish of the day with chips was €23 and quite disappointing. We also had to ask twice for additional drinks and the order was still ignored, which made the experience frustrating. Overall, a lovely place for the views and atmosphere, but the food and service need improvement.

The Haven Hotel

29/04/2026: Called in with friends for lunch, the waitress in the restaurant was friendly and service was quick, food was very good, the only reason I didn't give a better rating was i found the receptionist rude.
05/04/2026: We visited as a group of seven and came specifically for the restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was good, with plenty of options to suit everyone in the group. Dessert was yummy. There’s also lots of outdoor seating, which would be perfect in the summer.
