Always busy and bustling from morning till late in the afternoon so finding a place can be a bit of a struggle. The food itself is very good especially the sandwiches and smoothies it explains why its so popular in Bishopstown but then again there isn't a lot of competition around. Staff are okay, they will help you if you need anything otherwise leave you be. However, cleanliness is a bit lacking, there can be food crumbs all over the table and benches.

Its one very very busy little spot and I'm not surprised why. What a great selection of food and drink. Very good service and happy happy staff very friendly nothing seemed to much. Lots of seating inside and out. I'd definitely be back when next in Cork.

The food is always just right, they deliver quality and flavor, and the sandwiches are delicious. The coffee isn't great, but I'm picky about coffee, so it's up to you to decide what you order. The place is small, so if you don't like crowded places with lots of noisy teenage students, avoid school hours. Other than that, it's a very pleasant and welcoming environment, and all the staff are very friendly. I liked the place, I recommend it, and I'll go back whenever I can.

The perfect cafe in Cork. I dont know why I waited So long to get out to beantown!!! We were feeling a bit fragile after a night out, and Tony and the crew made sure we got the cure we needed. Pancakes and bagels and buckets of tea and matcha and cookies and crossaints were exactly what we needed 😌 The staff are run off their feet because it's so busy but make such a effort to make sure everyone feels like they are getting all their attention. Our American friend says their the best bagels In Cork! Highly recommend.

29/11/2024: Brunch cooked with love! My partner and I visited CafĂ© Jane this past Sunday, a destination spot after reading reviews of the cafĂ©. We ordered the ham and cheese omelet, and a side of toast and jam – but seeing other guests enjoying the pancakes, we ordered those too and were delighted by their fluffiness and flavor. From an outsider’s perspective, CafĂ© Jane seems to be a center of the community – serving elevated home-cooked freshness. Jane cooked the food for us herself, and her son (we believe) was our kind and gentle host. This visit was made all the more special for me, as my mother’s name is Jane and we are visiting Ireland on the 30th anniversary-year of her death – a trip she and I had always intended taking, to learn more about her/our ancestors. Eating at CafĂ© Jane, enjoying the scrumptious food in a warm and laid-back atmosphere, I know my mother would have loved this cafĂ© and this food.

Hi-B Bar

16/12/2024: A bar in the shape of a super cozy living room. The bartender is pleasant and has time for his guests even though he is there alone. Important rule in this pub, no telephone in the pub, but talk to each other. The bartender speaks to a guest when he is calling in the pub, very funny and this surprised guest politely goes outside to make the call! In short, highly recommended and you simply have to visit this pub because this pub is nice and different, delicious!
