Blouser's Pub in Westport

07/08/2024: This is a blended review, as I had both dinner and breakfast at Maddens. Dinner was very good. Prompt and friendly service at this meal, and the food was first rate. The soup was tasty and the lamb shank was well prepared. That meal deserves and would get a 5 star review. Breakfast, however, was a different affair entirely. Something labeled "orange juice" was some Tang-like fluid. Really? No other restaurant in Ireland has done that, where I have had great OJ at each location. Service was VERY slow, and I had to finally flag down a server to order. Scrambled eggs they served had a full yoke in it which I sperated out. If you eat there try the scones. They were tasty. Overall, a mixed bag at this place, but breakfast might be a bit challenging, especially if you are on a schedule.
