On a recommendation we visited the Brehon Bar for the seafood chowder. Unfortunately John Durkan mustn't have been fishing that day as his famous chowder was lacking it's main component, fish! A bowl of milky fish water with a couple of slithers of the side of a fish does not constitute a famous chowder also priced at €13.50 which I wouldn't have minded paying if only it had some substance and flavour. Besides that service and ambience great!
