Budds in Ballydehob

This is a great place to stop on your way to or coming back from the westerly extremes of west cork. Great food and coffee that tastes like coffee. Mince pies to die for. Keep it going!!!

The shop is very friendly. If you're passing by, you can stop by for coffee and food.

Excellent food and pleasant Atmosphere

Their brunch in a bun was pretty good, less salty than an actual full Irish breakfast! Their smoked salmon not only looked good, but was also tasted good! Great spot for breakfast and the staff are friendly. It’s pretty small though so come early for a table!

Sadly, my decaf coffee was very bitter, watery and ‘cloudy’, a big disappointment. My husband’s flat white was served in a small glass, which is a pet hate. Perhaps staff should ask before serving hot drinks in glassware! Very overpriced at €4+ per drink. The outdoor space is on the narrow pavement on a very busy road. Not great. Staff are nice, but the place is over rated.

A very exciting menu to choose from followed by delicious food and great coffee. We really enjoyed Budd’s and look forward to returning!
