Bunsen in Cork

The burgers are only alright with their cheapish grade beef and no seasoning, it lacks texture too, the fries are also very mid but milkshake was top tier. Staff quite aloof.

The restaurant is stylishly decorated and the music and volume were quite pleasant. We were served quickly and the staff was friendly. However, it was very warm in the restaurant (not too warm, but not comfortable either). When the burgers arrived, they looked good, but they were very meaty; it felt like 80% of the burger was meat. When we paid, a tip was automatically added, which I found a bit odd, especially since the burgers were already expensive enough, and then we also had to pay a 20% tip, which I, as a group of teenagers, found quite cheeky. All in all, the place was okay, but I found it too expensive and wouldn't go there again.

Quick, great service, simple menu and delicious burgers at a fair price

Grabbed a quick burger on lunch break, was my first visit won’t be my last. Staff were really friendly, quick food service, burger was next level and really good value.

It was perfect from the start to the end! I was welcomed and sat very quickly and asked if it was my first time to explain the items in their menu (which is very simple)but i think it is very thoughtful of them to do.I had shoestring fries and a burger without onion and tomatoes on my special request.Fries were the best i had in cork or maybe in whole ireland in a burger place.Perfectly crisp and tasty that you can even eat without any sauce or vinegar-just fries-and you are more than good.Burger was a smash burger which you can see on the photo 100% beef.It was more than delicious and definitely would like to come and eat again(not my thing at all but their sweet potato fries got me intrigued) Again!!!Their staff is the nicest!

This is the greatest burger in the universe.

When I want a cheeseburger I want the bun fluffy, the patty perfectly formed, and to be fighting for my life wiping the drippings with those paper-thin diner napkins. Bunsen delivers on all fronts. Don’t sleep on the sweet potato fries, but most importantly save room for the best chocolate milkshake that’s ever touched your lips.

Food is excellent most of the time. Your prices have gone extortionate though. In 2023 a double cheese and fries was 20 euro delivered. 3 years later it is 26 euro delivered. This is a crazy increase. Sort your prices out!!!
