The best sunset in the west is seen from Bushe’s barrels. Great fiddle music and honest beer from an ancient establishment.

There is nowhere like Ireland when the sun is shining, and it doesn’t get any better than Baltimore Co Cork. We stopped off for a pint and an open crab sandwich. Both were delicious. It’s a great little pub, but get here early, they stop serving food after 5pm.

There's nothing like a pint outside here on a summer's day, or a lovely pint by the fire in winter time. Lovely pub, great bar staff.

Rolf's

28/05/2025: We were looking for lunch and came across Rolf's. It's located a little above the town of Baltimore, but well signposted. There's a large parking lot. We ordered the breaded chicken schnitzel with salad and rosemary potatoes for lunch. What can I say? The food was amazing. The schnitzel wasn't dry, topped with a fantastic breading. The salad and dressing were simply fantastic. The potatoes were perfect. And the facility we saw was very well-maintained and clean. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly.
28/05/2025: We stopped for lunch during our motorcycle tour. Very good food, friendly service, and a lovely place for a short break.
