We came to this small, locally-ran cafe for breakfast, and had a nice experience. The food was mostly tasty (though the deep-fried bacon was a bit chewy), and a good value for Irish prices. It was great to see just one person running the place, and cooking the food to order.

Delicious breakfasts, wonderful atmosphere. We found Cafe Espresso while on holiday in Cork – I'm so sorry we didn't make it until the last day of our trip, because it was the best breakfast we had in Cork.

¡Qué delicioso desayuno! Servicio súper rápido. Buena comida, porciones bastante grandes. Se sentía local y el precio era tan razonable. Me gustaría comer aquí una y otra vez!

Son of a Bun

10/01/2026: Came as a group of 4 lads on a very busy Friday night. Staff accommodated us in the quickest way they could. By far the best burgers, chicken, slaw and fries we’ve ever had. It was so good we had to shake the chefs hand😂
09/01/2026: A savage feed with very friendly and attentive staff. We got seated outside immediately but wait times for indoor were up to 30 minutes on a busy Friday evening. Well worth a visit
