Ideal location, friendly staff, amazing food, lovely rooms.

Lovely stay at historic hotel. Beautiful and tastefully refurbished room at front, facing the square. Good pub food and great breakfast. Staff very helpful. Book online (do include breakfast) for best accommodation and breakfast rate. PS no affiliation with hotel.

We had a family meal in the Cahir House Library restaurant, adjacent to the pub. This is a lively, popular and well-run establishment, with a very nice atmosphere and excellent service. It was packed at 5pm on a Saturday, and deservedly so. The food was excellent, well above average pub-food. Everthing was good; and the Chowder, in particular, was simply superb. We will certainly stop there next time we are passing through or near Cahir.

We had a nice dinner here. The steak sandwich was good, and the chicken burger was delicious as well.

Didn’t stay there but we got a meal in the bar, found the meal very filling and good value for money the staff were friendly and the atmosphere had a nice vibe to it

Cahir House is the best (one of the only) hotels in Cahir. Very friendly staff, nice bar, good food, and good rooms. Some things are outdated but that’s expected with such a historic hotel!
