Caprice in Galway

The food at Caprice was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. We were a group of three, but unfortunately, one dish was forgotten, so one of us had to wait while the rest were served. Mistakes happen, but it did take a bit away from the experience. Overall though, the food was excellent, and I’d be happy to visit again.

Was greeted and seated right away by Manager and given water for the table. Poached eggs were undercooked. No one came to the table to check on us so when it was time to pay I mentioned to staff that I could not eat the dish. No apology and I was presented with the bill. Had to explain that I wasnt paying for my meal. Manager was notified and brought plate to the kitchen. Came back and removed the item from the bill. No acknowledgement or apology. Staff training needs to be improved.

Great food, great atmosphere, walked in on a sunday morning! Will definitely be back

Great dinner place that I highly recommend. Last night 6 of us needed a last minute reservation and they had cancellation and we got in. I was not expecting much, and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything about it was superb. The owner was so nice and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It looks like something has changed from what I saw in prior reviews, as our entire experience was exceptional.

Fantastic food, great service, wonderful atmosphere - we highly recommend it. We only were able to get a reservation due to a prior cancellation, and couldn’t believe how lucky we were!

This was the last dinner on a 10 day tour of Ireland and it was outstanding. As someone who once worked in food service, I can appreciate how difficult it is to deal with a large group (30+), to get everyone served and keep everyone happy, but the staff and the owner were so kind and so pleasant and went out of their way for us, We did not meet the chef but our complements as the food was just fantastic. I wish them continued success.

We went as tour group and it couldn’t have been any better the steak is absolutely amazing never tasted anything so good! and as for the Tiramisu it’s a huge portion but so good. Vicky and her children darragh and Ava provided the best service looked after us so well they were all so friendly darragh kept us topped up with wine😀. So nice to see such a well run family business that gave us such a great night.
