Carlingford Arms in Carlingford

Lived our visit today to Carlingford Arms. A very well run establishment, welcoming and friendly staff. Good was value for money and very tasty. Bar area is very nice with Halloween theme and so many signs that has us laughing so much. Pinta if Guinness were excellent.

We as family had a beautiful & very tasty dinner, we had 4 main courses & 1 dessert, 2 steak burgers, lasagne & cod and chips. The dessert was a chocolate fudge cake & vanilla ice cream. All of the food was fantastic

In for Sunday drinks and fella Henry who was singing was just fantastic didn't want him to stop. Staff very friendly place spotless and complimentary chips n fish bites outstanding thank u all definitely be back.

Great spot for lunch, had a beautiful steak sandwich and the lads have fish and chips, food was lovely and staff were very friendly.

The service was absolutely amazing, as was the food. The waitress offered something for our baby the minute we sat down and had vegetables made especially for her (no waitresses ever offer additional food for her usually). Super friendly.

Good lunch after a long day/night of travel. 3 Meals with drinks for under €70. Garlic & Chilli Prawns (with Tomatoes). A Decent sized Burger, stuffing inside that Turkey, Ham & “ample” mash, topped off by crunchy garlic bread was enjoyed by all of us.

Possibly the best food in local area, beautiful meals, great staff and very reasonably priced. The Guinness was the best I had in years!

Being coming to Carlingford a couple of times a year for some time now. Highlight of our visit is always a good meal and a few drinks in the carlingford arms. Food and drinks still up to usual standard thankfully but unfortunately they appear to have lost their staff. Left waiting too often without any attention and without drinks. We probably won’t avoid the place due to this as rest is so good but would like to point out to management that there is an issue.

We went for a family anniversary meal which included both adults and children. The service and attendance we got was outstanding, nothing was a problem and the food was top notch. We will definitely be back again.
