What a wonderful place. Everything about it is amazing from food, to staff and the really quirky space. The dinner menu is excellent value at just €35 for 3 courses,only 2.50 supp for the steak. They bring out some sides to the table also. There are plenty of options on the dinner menu. Also the A lá carte has plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Took this recommendation from the internet and the glowing positive reviews are all sorts of on point. We were upstairs and seated near the stairs in what I best describe as the parlor, the kitchzee decor stole my heart 💗 My mam is 85 and has fluid on her legs and found the stairs hard work so I would advise letting them know if anyone has mobility issues when you book to be seated downstairs, I did not realise and they were already fully booked and table plan set for the night. I booked my table 3 weeks in advance because this is one hellofa popular spot.

We had the Spring rolls and Rack of Kerry Lamb which were delicious. We followed up dinner with the Creme Brulee and a cheese plate with Port. The creme brulee was well done with a fruit compote and vanilla ice cream. The cheese plate encompassed several cheeses to include a Brie, a smoked cheddar, and a few others with a selection of crackers and a glass of port. Overall we had an excellent meal and enjoyed our visit. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Great restaurant! The entrées, main courses and desserts were delicious.
I had the grilled sea hake, which was very good. Tasty fish, good creamy sauce and the maybe best potato gratin I had. The menu is local and the daily soup was perfect. The deer rack from my friend was perfectly medium and just so tender.
This restaurant is highly recommendable!

The best food I ever had in Ireland! The seafood was so fresh and delicious. We had the sea bass, abs scallops. The staff were so happy, kind and helpful. Next time I’m in the country I will come back.

Always goes there when we r visiting our family in kerry. Stuff is always welcoming and friendly and food is always good quality. Special shef dessert :baileys cheesecake deserves compliments.
We got fried mashrooms as starter - it was delicious.
For main course we tried grilled chicken with veggies and beef stew. Really recommended.

Family gathering while on holidays. 8 of us had a great time. Staff were in great form. The bre was lovely, and the t bone steak was huge and cooked perfectly. Definitely be back there again

Really surprised at how wonderful the food and service was here. As other people have said don’t judge a book by its cover! The ladies who waited on us were so good. The best waitresses we’ve ever encountered. The lamb was perfect. The veg still had bite. The lasagne was al dente and the deserts…oh my days! So good and we got a free taster of the lemon meringue too!
Simply the best food we’ve had in Ireland so far!

What a delightful find ... a recommendation from the B&B owner. I am glad he did because as other have commented you wouldn't expect much from the outside. The food was wonderful ... my steak cooked to perfect as was my wife's chicken ... appetizers were excellent as were the desserts although now our bellies hurt because we are so full! lol. Bit what sets this restaurant apart from others is service ... kind and efficient service as few places nowadays have. This is clearly a reflection of the owner and proprietor, Geraldine, who was so friendly and authentic and wanting every guess to be satisfied with what they were served. I watched her personally manage a large table with a number of children and she was nothing short of extraordinary. She shared that she started the business 26 years ago and clearly it is a business reflective of its owners pride and values. Thanks for a wonderful evening ... Iwith you continued success with your restaurant Geraldine ... you are most deserving of a 5 star review!
