Castle Books Main Street in Castlebar legal

I was very happy to discover this book shop and café. We had great coffee and tasty scones upstairs.

A fantastic shop with a great selection. Big shout out to Aoife who was fantastic helping me to choose a perfect gift for a difficult person to buy for!

Lovely place where you can read a book, crochet, knit or embroider while having a pretty nice coffee and pastries. The staff was super attentive on both sides -coffee and book shops- and really showed that they care about their customers.

Castle Books is one of those gems of an independent bookshop which show why independents are the heart of the book shopping experience. One of the staff checked in with me shortly after I arrived and asked could she help with anything. She also pointed out the cafe upstairs. There was a family there with a 3 year old whom the staff engaged with and this will, no doubt, create positive memories of books for him. I was delighted to find this shop while on holiday.

Savage coffee and scones. The barista is very friendly and lovely! Would 100% recommend to anyone to go in :)

Excellent bookshop, I just happened to be in Castlebar for a few days & went inside to check if they had a few books I was looking for. They didn't but said they could order them for me & have them to me within a week. I ordered & had them within the week. This is a lovely bookshop, with a very friendly service. I will use Castle Book Shop again. Thank you so much.
