Cavan Crystal Hotel in Cavan

We stopped to have dinner, it was fabulous, the service, wine and dinner was excellent. I highly recommend the teriyaki stir-fry ( I had it with prawns) it was delicious.

Excellent service and facilities at this hotel. Food exceptional and staff very helpful. Breakfast cooked to order which ensures everything is freshly made.

My husband i went for the long weekend it was very relaxing, the food was fabulous, the room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful 😀

Greeted by 2 older ladies who took ages to stop gossiping about a member of staff out sick, finally ordered and waited 15mins for just a latte, I had to go back and ask where it was and it was just sitting there, they basically blamed me for the employee not writing down the number!?! Also I had a 6 month old and 2 year old and one of the elderly woman said “God you’ve your hands full” as she eventually dropped down my lukewarm coffee, definitely NOT family friendly.

Ummhhhh.... Absolutely gorgeous premises, fabulous set up and interior surroundings. Unfortunately the food was a massive let down. Firstly the BLT was sent out with no lettuce, sent back and was returned on soggy toasted bread. Second meal the Fiery Bagel was sent out with wet gougons on it, the bun was dripping in oil & the bacon was cheap bought in pre-cooked packaged stuff you get in musgraves or similar. I recommend for purchasing nice things but NOT for food of chef quality.
