Cavan Crystal Hotel in Cavan

Lovely hotel and friendly staff with exceptional food! Pool however, was disappointing. 25 degrees is way too cold for children and was evidenced by limited usage. It is the only thing putting me off returning.

Great help when government left the people of Cavan alone and unaided after the storm, allowed us to charge our phones etc,provided heat and food for us and quite frankly we're a saviour to many.Will not be forgotten in the future and should be frequented by all as a truly deserving and caring business. There are not enough stars on the scale that should be awarded to this establishment.

Stayed just one night Room was very clean and comfortable Staff from reception, bar, restaurant were very welcoming Food was delicious and portion size was very generous Will definitely be back

Nice hotel. I arrived a bit early and they didn't hesitate to get me into a room that was ready. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Rooms have lots of storage, coffee maker, iron and extra blankets if you need them. My only issue was I was unable to turn down the thermostat on the radiator so my room was a bit warmer than I prefer.

We went in for lunch while staying at a nearby Hotel. The place was extremely busy and had a lovely lively atmosphere. Very efficient management of seating guests and managing the queue. We enjoyed our food. Good ratio quality/price. Large portions and reasonably priced. When we were leaving the queue had reached the door. Would definitely recommend it.

Our Women's Group decided to do the Bridgeton Afternoon Tea on the 11th. 15 of us, which included 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, 1 dairy free & and gluten-free, 1 halal & 2 diabetes and this was no problem. We really enjoyed our food. Selection of sandwiches, beautiful tasty assorted scones & gorgeous tasty cakes. Brought out more sandwiches. Refilled pots of tea including decaff Tea and coffee. The China is beautiful. Great value for €16. Some of us had been to lough Rynn in 2023 with another group for their Afternoon Tea. We all said Chapter 1 surpasses Lough Rynn for everything, the quality of food ,service and the China presentation. Worth 5 stars.l and more. Our server Paco(?) was brilliant and so helpful with a smile. Highly recommend the experience
