We had dinner one night and was amazing the food. During our dinner we noticed Australian sports on the TV. The next day we came back and asked to watch AFL to which the accommodated. The staff were amazing, also giving us recommendations for other places. All the staff were kind and attentive.

My experience here was great. Waitress was very nice and the food was excellent! I ordered the famous Spicy Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the fish and chips. Everything was cook really while. Highly recommended.

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una comida de primera calidad en la bodega esta noche. El servicio era excelente, y la comida era fresca y deliciosa. Aunque tuvimos algunas experiencias mixtas aquí el año pasado, me emocionó ver que el restaurante ha vuelto a sus estándares excepcionales. La comida ofrecía una fantástica relación calidad-precio y la comida a precios más razonables en Galway City junto con porciones masivas. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

27/07/2025: Second time I had come here and the food is absolutely amazing , the rib eye is so delicious I have never had a better steak than that, the rest of the food like beef and lamb was great too, everything is prepared amazingly. Lots to choose from , dessert was amazing I had the brookie and it was the best dessert I have ever had. Service is amazing, food came at perfect times not too long , starter were too little or too big , sizes are great. I recommened it!
22/07/2025: Beautiful place, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, truly a gem!! We went there twice for breakfast during our stay in Galway and everything was truly delicious. The full Irish breakfast was beautifully prepared! In the bathroom, there's a soap dispenser and hand lotion. Highly recommended!!

15/08/2025: They give you a lot of food and the ambiance is fantastic. We were craving fish and chips since before we came to Ireland and McDonagh’s did not disappoint.
14/08/2025: Perfect place to eat seafood delicacies! You can't miss their fantastic fish and chips and their oysters, they have an incredible flavor...you can taste the sea! Not to mention their giant and delicious onion rings! There's no table service, you have to wait in line and order, and although it may seem like a long line, it's really very quick and smooth, thanks to the staff! CONGRATULATIONS!
