Had a wonderful meal here on Saturday night in the run up to Christmas with my daughter.
The building was so festive and beautiful, great ambience and the food was to die for.
It's my second visit and will definitely return again.
Would highly recommend The Church.

Stopped in late November, they must have just put the Christmas decorations up, arrived with no booking on a busy enough Sunday evening and the hostess at the front desk went out of her way to find the best seats for us upstairs. Menu had loads of options and everything that came out was the kind of food that you'd hope it would be. Just really solid, well cooked gastro food that looked great on the plate. Every course was delicious and the staff were really helpful and attentive. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Skibreen

In general, good quality and quantity. However, strings on the sugar snaps were not removed. When mentioning this, it became clear that both serving staff and bar staff don't know what's on the plate. Room for Improvements.

We happened across this spot as we were passing through. Skibbereen is a charming town (and name!) and, on top of that, the idea of a converted church seemed perfect for lunch. Our host and the wait staff were friendly, and the lunch outstanding. I had the smoked salmon salad, and the chef went above and beyond to include a nice variety of elements with the greens; the Marie Rose sauce was a perfect touch. Another of our party pronounced the soup and bread to be out of this world. There are so many things on the menu that looked tempting; we hope to be back some day!
