Cleere's in Kilkenny

After a long drive from the Cliffs of Moher, we walked into Cleere’s on a Monday night and were completely blown away by the live “Session" The amount of musical talent packed into one pub was unbelievable—each performance was better than the last, and the shared history among the musicians was truly remarkable. It was an honor to experience such a vibrant, authentic night in Kilkenny. My wife and I will never forget it.

A great pub with great staff in the heart of Kilkenny. Well worth the 7 minute walk from the castle.

amazing 🥳 The best bar in town, with an unbeatable atmosphere and even better company

Stopped for lunch and pint. Stew excellent, toastie thick bread. Fireplace was lit. Warm atmosphere and great server. A local gave us some history.

Great little pub towards the end of the high street in Kilkenny , was early evening around 6.00 ish, not to busy, very friendly and quick service , opted for the Irish stew and couple of pints of Guinness , food was very tasty and not too expensive, highly recommended for a decent dinner
