Great Indian food, lots of variety. We come here very often and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It’s so hard to decide what to order because everything is delicious. I love their lamb rogan josh the best, though. Also, their cardamom tea is heaven in a cup.

We had a fabulous meal there last night everything was so fresh and tasty..gentleman who served us was really friendly and professional .wine was very good aswell..will definitely be making it one of our regular visits for dinner .

Khalid and the team took great care of us. The pakoras to start were amazing and the mains (vegan) were super tasty. Definitely one to revisit!

We had a lovely meal here tonight while visiting Kinsale for the Jazz Festival. We had lamb vindaloo and seafood balti with lemon rice, chips and naan. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Khaled our waiter was a lovely man and we had a great time chatting with him. We will definitely be back next time we are in Kinsale!

The service was very good they even offered to give my son a free ice cream and a water for the way home. the currys were extremely tasty aswell and the desserts were very sweet

25/10/2025: I like a good meal. By good I mean a masterclass in balance, complexity, good ingredients magnificently combined and prepared . . . Rare provided probably the best and most interesting meal I've ever had in Ireland. Wonderful subtle Indian hints brought to Cork produce. Absolutely wonderful!
28/09/2025: Definitely the best dining experience I've ever had. I went to Rare to celebrate my birthday and was impressed with the treatment I received. They really made me feel special!! I had a chef coming over to my table to explain every single one of the plates. It was great to learn the story behind the amazing flavour each one of the plates had. The price falls into the high-end category, but if you enjoy a unique dining experience,  I believe you won't regret visiting Rare.
