Connemara Lake Hotel in Oughterard

Our family had a very memorable stay here. Rooms were very clean with a lot of space. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, right in the middle of scenic places to drive. The best part was the staff who were so friendly and made sure we have a lovely stay. Thank you so much!

Locks faulty, great breakfast. Try to get down early as food goes fast but is restocked but takes time. WiFi didn’t work in my room, room number 6. Helpful staff. Good budget hotel. Parking is difficult. No car parks just park on the sides of the road. Good shops and a pice thatchers pub nearby. Fun experience

The location is fantastic, a chance to explore Connemara and Galway city. The staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. We had dinner also and it was all freshly home made, portions very large, incredibly tasty and great value. The rooms have been refreshed to an extent. For a budget friendly hotel it exceeded our expectations.

Friendly helpful staff. Was able to enjoy a buffet as staff catered for my celiac disease.

Went down for a communion dinner. Set menu but with good choices. Chicken wings were excellent and fried hake was meaty perfectly cooked. Staff were very friendly. Impressed.

Went in here for a meal after the Connemarathon. The staff were so welcoming. We went in when the place was empty and they were delighted to have us. Really good food, nice drinks and a great coffee to take for the road. A credit to all involved.
