Cornstore in Cork

Had a retirement evening tonight at this truly fabulous restaurant!! What a superb meal,the food ,the service,the staff, Richard the manager and his staff were absolutely fantastic!!! Love the menu here,so fresh and delicious,great portions too,thanks again,will be back!!!

We went here for our anniversary dinner, it was delicious we had a great experience. The cocktails were next level exquisite, i was driving and they accommodated my no alcohol request perfectly. All the cocktails are made to request as I was able to order any of the cocktails as mocktails. I ordered the pornstar martini and they even served me a shot of lemonade! My partner enjoyed normal cocktails and reported they were amazing. For dinner I ordered the sundries tomato cannelloni which wasn’t my favourite but still nice. My partner ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes which were creamy and delicious. Desert was equally delicious and the staff surprised us with a candle for our anniversary. Overall it was well worth the price.

Very nice food and good atmosphere

Great place for a date night, with areas for semi-private booths away from the open seating areas. The French onion soup was flavorful but a little sweet. Steaks were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. Some bolder red wines (like a Primitivo) would pair better with good steaks. The cookie and ice cream is worth another visit.

The food was delicious. We started with the tuna ceviche great flavor. We moved on to al carte menu, both having fillet. I had the Chimichurri sauce while my husband had pepper sauce. Chimichurri sauce was much better. Split the whiskey tiramisu for dessert, very yummy.

Great staple restaurant in Cork but also a super outdoor spot for sunny cocktails and starters as snacks on a beautiful day. Dropped in mid-week for an impromptu birthday drink with friends and had lovely food, great drinks and a birthday candle in the dessert! Richard our waiter was a gem.

Visited Friday and had the most amazing steak, beautiful restaurant, lovely staff, went back Sunday for the shared roast which was equally as amazing, highly recommended

Muy promedio teniendo en cuenta los precios. 12€ por 2 botellas de agua tranquila absolutamente ridículo cuando pensamos que estábamos recibiendo agua del grifo. Plato de ternera lleno de grasa sin patata y 7 € por porción de puré! No volveré

Started off with a lovely tuna ceviche with roasted pimento pepper and a crisp caper dressing which was absolutely sensational. Can’t go wrong with a ceviche! Followed by a perfectly cooked fillet steak with lobster mac and cheese and mash which was to die for! The star of the show for me was the Balsamictini cocktail - vodka, balsamic reduction, fresh basil, and strawberry. ‘Bold, refreshing, and a little unexpected.’ As described by the restaurant and they weren’t wrong! I could legit drink balsamic vinegar so this has to be one of my favourite cocktails of all time. Probably one of the best, if not the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Definitely coming back!!
