The food was bussin. I mean it was really good The breakfast is really failing and the hot chocolate was really good. I'm kind of glad they did not go overly sweet on it because many places go hot wild on the sweetness, but this one was not too overpowering on sweetness

The cafe upstairs is my absolute favourite place to have a spot of lunch! Most friendly staff who go out of their way to make it a great experience! Their salads and wraps are so fresh and yummy ❤️

The cafe is inside a convenience store. Walk to the back of the convenience store and take the stairs up. It opens from 8am. We had a good breakfast here after a long walk at the Howth Cliff.

An absolutely fantastic place for lunch. Service is impeccable, very tasty food, fair prices. I am a local and regularly go here for lunch -the standard is always perfect. Lovely staff and great options for food. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This restaurant reopened this year and is better than ever. Service is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable and best of all is the food. There is a wide brunch selection on the menu and whatever you choose arrives freshly cooked. The room is cosy and caters for one or two people right up to large groups of six or more.

Friendly staff and friendly customers. There is an eclectic range of food in the shop not seen in unusual shops. Never for a minute think it is pretentious and expensive it is neither. 3 lattes as smoth as silk and 2 ham tomato and cheese panini 17€ and the panini was bursting with flavour. McDonskd would not give you thar type of value even for their mediocre food. Great food is not expensive. Howth was so busy on the sea front and nowhere to park. The country market is only a 5 minute walk from the sea front opposite the church. My Mother in law is a cancer patient, and her taste buds have become challenging, but today at the Country Market, that challenge was met and conquered. The problem is now ithat its become a regular for my mum in law in the future.

22/10/2024: A very nice decorated place, with allot of space for dinners/drinkers with nice staff and service :-) I went there for a drink with few friends, so, didn't try the food, but I will surely be back to try the food... to summarise... a nice place for a visit :-) visited again this morning for a coffee and the espresso was very good! :-) I went there 15 min before opening and was served with a smile :-) sometimes that what makes the difference when deciding to revisit a place :-) thank you June :-) one more thing to add.... the coffee has improved :-) a very welcoming place... worth a visit and.... the coffee is still good :-)

Afternoon Tea At the Ashdown Park Hotel

09/11/2024: The SPA in this hotel gets 10/10 from me And the rest is a bit worse. In general, the hotel looks great inside, I went to a wedding and on the good morning there was a crowd of wedding guests with cigarettes and alcohol at the main entrance (the hotel has two places for smoking cigarettes), which scared me (the hotel has two places to smoke cigarettes), then there were guests running around the entire hotel in a drunken state, which is not cool for other guests. . The hotel restaurant has disgusting food, I ordered wings crisps and got them, but they were either made two days in advance or from a bag for 10e. When I asked the waiter whether they were fresh or frozen, he hesitated to answer, so my friend came and said they were fresh. (We know how it was) for the second course I ordered a steak and I got the steak. It was the only one that was good because the side dishes, such as fries, were also from the previous day, as well as the arugula, disgusting, no tomatoes or onions. Average service. I don't recommend it. The middle room would need to be renovated and the bathroom thoroughly cleaned because while taking a shower I was repulsed by the crap coming out of the shower head. I got a room overlooking the street, but unfortunately you can hear everything at double volume. Plus, close to Aldi and Lidl.
