Cronins Restaurant in Killarney

Small restaurant with a big atmosphere. Great service from the team, smiling and helpful. Seafood chowder was delicious, the lamb was incredibly soft and tasty, you could cut it without using your knife. We will definitely come back.

This is a great restaurant that accommodated four of us on a Monday night before closing. The lamb and duck dishes were delicious. The dessert options were plentiful, with the sticky toffee being the highlight. The wine selection was also great.

Amazing foods, staffs very friendly, i think this is the best restaurant in Killarney ❤❤

You have to get the seafood chowder, PACKED with tons of nice big chunks of fish and overall great flavor, by far the best I had during my trip (and I tried a lot of them)! My husband had the daily roast special which was lamb and it was delicious and quite a large portion too. I had the shepard’s pie which was okay but I thought a little too savory or salty/garlicky/peppery, something I’m not sure I can put my finger on but that was also my first time having it so maybe that’s just what it’s supposed to taste like. Get there early if you want a table, they fill up fast for good reason! Oh and save room for dessert, their sticky toffee is a MUST!

Great service, lovely people and the food was amazing (lamb shank delicious!) We had a great time with my French buddies there, 100% recommend.

Visited in a group of 12. Had pre booked the table. The food choice was excellent. I had the duck which was beautifully cooked. The waiter was engaging and knowledgeable. I had a Derry Donkey ( their take on a Moscow Mule). The restaurant was very accommodating and made settling the bill simplistic. Would thoroughly recommend

We had the smoked salmon and the garlic ciabatta appetizers. Both were excellent! The rhubarb crumble was a nice and not too sweet dessert.

We loved our meal at Cronin's! The wait staff was friendly and fun. My husband got the Shepherd's Pie and it was delicious! I got the steak and it was so yummy with the mushrooms and onions. We had the sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble, as well as an Irish coffee and it was great. It didn't feel fussy or stuffy, but just a really delicious family-run restaurant that I absolutely would highly recommend!

We ate dinner here on our first night in Ireland at the recommendation of our concierge at the Great Southern Killarney Hotel. We very much enjoyed the restaurant. Centrally located in the downtown section of Killarney. The setting was cozy and comfortable and the staff including the management were very friendly and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Very Irish cuisine. I had the lamb chops which were done well and my wife had the shepards pie which was also tasty. Even though this was our first restaurant, after 10 days in Ireland we all agreed it was one of our favorite restaurants in all of Ireland. As an example of the level of friendliness and service, two days after we dined, my wife thought she left her umbrella at the restaurant. She called, they took her number, they checked for it and called her back. Not many restaurants would go to that level of customer service and speaks to the quality of the restaurant. We would go back if in Killarney again.
