Cronins Restaurant in Killarney

I was in Killarney Saturday with a friend of mine we had tryed our luck in a few establishments to no avail so we went to this premises with no reservation and to our surprise the host Pat kindly offered us a table for two upstairs which we were delighted to accept it was very clean cosy nice atmosphere and the food was delicious we had a three course meal which we enjoyed thoroughly so we will be back for sure

The food is okay, disproportionately priced. They are friendly and it is comfortable, but I will not repeat.

We’ve gone here every year for the last six years because the food is consistently great (the lamb shanks today were fabulous) and the service is warm and friendly. We initially went because of the name (I’m a Cronin -but no relation!), but we return for everything else. One of my favourite restaurants in the world.

We came to Kilkerry looking for somewhere nice to eat. We approached the manager and he informed us they were full. We were still standing outside when he approached us that he had a table if interested! Thank goodness! The food was amazing, and the 3 fussy travelers were raving of the meals! Our server was friendly and hardworking!! Kudos to ALL the staff for an amazing meal in Kilkerry!

Very nice restaurant with tasty food and very friendly and attentive service. The place fills up quickly. Highly recommended.

Family-run restaurant in the center of Killarney. Friendly host, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. We sat outside in front of the restaurant, in an area with parasols and umbrellas. :-) If you're interested, they also serve Aperol Spritz, although it's not on the menu. Highly recommended!

Really liked this place. I recommend reserving a table in advance, as it gets busy, but we still managed to get seated on a busy evening. The prices are okay, definitely not the worst we've seen in Killarney. I got the sheperd's pie (for two days in a row, that's how much I liked it), and my boyfriend got the chicken special of the day, which was good, but nothing to write home about. Their sticky toffee pudding is really nice, and can be shared with another person in my opinion. The sun dried tomato spread you get as a complementary starter is amazinh as well. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The only thing I was a bit puzzled by is the speed at which they get the main dishes out. We arrived at the empty restaurant at 4pm and got served our two pies at 4:15. Makes me wonder if they keep them frozen. 🧐
