Cronins Restaurant in Killarney

This place is amazing. I’ve never had a Shepards pie that I’ve loved until I came to Cronin’s. Highly recommend. My husband got the sirloin with onions and mushrooms. He is celiac and they were very accommodating. Even brought gf bread out for him. He loved his meal as well.

While exploring as much of Ireland as we possibly could, this was the only restaurant we actually went back to for a second night. It is that good.

Arrived in Killarney tonight and stopped in for dinner. Could not have made a better choice. Helen greeted us with enthusiasm and made us feel immediately welcomed. The four of us ordered the calamari and Brie starter. Fresh and delicious! Would order again. Entrees included salmon, shepherd’s pie and the roast of the day- duck. There was nothing but raves from the four of us. It was truly on of the best salmon filets I have ever had! Excellent good, excellent service. Highly recommend and will come back given the opportunity.

This was a lovely quaint restaurant The food was amazing and I was hoping to get a recipe for my dinner as I am still dreaming about it. The staff was fantastic and cannot wait to go back!

We were there Sunday evening. Unfortunately, there were no more tables available and we hadn't made a reservation. We'll be back.

It is a nice restaurant and the theme is perfectly fitting to both County Kerry and real Ireland. However, the prices would be something to laugh at if inflation was not so high. They charge crazy high prices for ordinary food in what is essence an ordinary restaurant. The proprietors, a father and son see dollar, euro and pound signs when they see you coming in as opposed to a customer looking for value for money.

This was a great find. Great dinner and staff. Would highly recommend

Amazing seafood and best clam chowder in town.

This should be a must-stop on your arrival in Killarney to experience a piece of history. I thought it was the owner or one of the staff who served me directly at the table. They offered me the daily special, a truly incredible mixed seafood platter. The vegetable soup was very creamy and delicious, and the Irish Brown Butter bread appetizer was delicious. For dessert, they recommended the rhubarb; it's like a classic homemade cake. The bill came to $60 for one person, including tip, which I thought was very reasonable.

Shepard's Pie was delicious. Great place.
