Cronin's Sheebeen in Westport

We had a very good meal, good value for money. Limited by the language barrier, but the staff were adaptable and pleasant.

Have been meaning to go here for some time We were seated in the front area which meant the views and atmosphere was lovely. Staff are very tentitive and polite. Food wise the menu is a bit light on options and expensive that said the quality is very much there . Had read previous posts questioning portion sizes , I wouldn't agree. We had the wings which are large . The specials are a little expensive . I had the pork belly it was very good I would say. Fish and chipnwas rather bland. I would go back.

I'm so glad we precooked Cronin's. The place was packed. Beautiful food and staff were lovely.

Underwhelming. The chowder was the highlight of the meal. One would expect more for the price and the hype.

Our family of 6 were renting a house in the Quays and decided to eat at the Sheebeen the first night we arrived. What a pleasant experience from start to finish. The owner/manager, Kieran, had sent me an email prior to our dinner to confirm our reservations and was very pleasant and professional--even after I moved our reservation time up. The Guiness was outstanding, the atmosphere even better and the food was the best. We started out with the chowder and mussels and they were excellent. For the main course some had fish and chips, some had the Haddock and others had the steak. We all raved about our meal. This was our best food experience in Westport. The staff is well-trained and the setting is outstanding.

Hadn't been here in years but as we were holidaying in the area we decided to go back. It was as good as I remember it. Just a shame I live three hours away.

Stopped off for a snack here while out walking along the Clew Bay coast. Fabulous chowder. The new black pudding starter was great also. (I sneak in here on my evening "stroll" also, for a chat and a pint,,,, shhhh😅🤫)

Fresh fish. As my friend said, the best fish I've ever eaten in my life. Lovely oysters.

Food and drink are excellent, beautiful view, great atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful.

Exceptional restaurant, staff and food. They looked after us so well. The food was delicious. The staff were really helpful, cheerful and friendly. A super place to go with friends or family for any occasion. Highly recommend this wonderful place. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you Cronins.
