Best Goat cheese of my life!! Freshest ingredients that you can taste. Such an incredible dinner we had, our server and manager at the restaurant were also super accommodating and attentive. Truly pleased with the food and service. I also love the marine fisherman theme. I thought it was very quaint while also being upscale and laidback. The parking in front was very small, and i recommend coming earlier so you have time to park if you're not a guest. they also don't have valet service in front but they probably had it elsewhere

A lovely place for lunch- great food and wonderful service. My only problem: I am a wheelchair user and the disabled toilet is too small to allow a wheelchair user to go in and close the door. I won’t go into the shenanigans that went on involving my husband, the wheelchair, myself and the toilet. Suffice it to say that it was embarrassing. I brought it to the attention of a staff member. Otherwise great place.

Delicious meal and lovely relaxed setting at Ashford Castle. The seafood is delicious. We had the Lobster and the Black Sole. Both were amazing and delicious.

A seafood shack situated just in front of Ashford Castle. Their food are delicious, especially the seafood pot and the cabbage soup. The chicken packed a lovely punch, and you can order a pint of Guinness to complete your meal like a true Irish.

Bakestone

19/05/2025: Fantastic place, great food, recommended for all
22/04/2025: Located in Fota Retail Park, Carrigtwohill, Bakestone Café & Pantry offers a delightful dining experience with its emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and artisanal products. Established by Joe and Maura Carey in 2013, this café has become a staple in East Cork, celebrated for its all-day menu featuring high-quality breakfast options and a wide selection of Irish artisan foods. **Ambiance and Service:** The café boasts a bright and airy atmosphere, perfect for casual gatherings. The staff are generally friendly and efficient, though some visitors have noted inconsistencies in service quality. **Food Quality:** While some patrons rave about the delicious breakfast dishes and fresh baked goods, others have reported mixed experiences with food temperature and presentation. The café's focus on local producers is commendable, but consistency in food quality seems to be an area for improvement. **Unique Features:** Bakestone's partnership with Badger & Dodo for their exclusive coffee blend, Common Grounds, adds a unique touch. The Pantry section offers an impressive array of artisanal products, highlighting over 150 Irish producers. **Conclusion:** Bakestone Café & Pantry is a charming spot with potential, but it needs to address the inconsistencies in food quality and service to fully meet customer expectations. Despite this, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a local, artisanal dining experience in East Cork.

Snailbox

12/06/2025: From the time you arrive to the time you leave the and the owner are top class the food was delicious We will be going back again real soon
11/06/2025: The maître d was extraordinarily welcoming. Loved how quirky the inside was with the baseball caps on the ceiling 🤪 Food served in a timely manner and was very hot. Reccomend asking customers what type of sauce they would like as opposed to providing a seafood sauce. None the less the atmosphere would be conducive to a revisit plus such a lovely outside view from this establishment.
