Danny Mac's in Lahinch

Had a lovely lunch here. Staff very attentive. Food was great with good portions and caters for children also.

After a long day of walking along the cliffs of Moher, we decided to pop down to lahinch for a late lunch. Here we stumbled upon Danny Macs. Some of us to the daily special (fish chowder and buttered cod.) while the rest had standard menu options. Overall we where quiet surprised by the quality of the ingredients which was pristine, with the Guinness being quite goof as well. All the fish and meat was of high quality. With ribs that came straight off the bone. Everything severed with generous portions. One place which wasn’t as good was the Chips, which where a little undercooked and lacked that needed crunch. As well as one of us would have preferred more seasoning in the burger and for it to be less simple. Also a little too much salad with each dish.

We had lunch and a breakfast here in this busy friendly bar. The food was excellent being hot and tasty. Maggie(?) welcomed us and sat us in a comfortable booth. On both occasions the bar was busy. We tried on the third morning but all tables were taken. Very reasonable food prices.

Amazing food as always! Visiting this place on regular basis and the quality of the food is always outstanding.

Had a nice breakfast here. I had the three pancakes which I believe was around 7 euros. If I went here again I would definately have the breakfast roll or one of the other breakfast meals. The portions for them were really big - so perfect if you are hungry!

Always a great experience going to Danny Mac's. Food is good, service is good, always able to get a seat. At least in the off season.

We visited as a group of 7 whilst visiting Co Clare on a short break. Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.
