Danny Mac's in Lahinch

We visited as a group of 7 whilst visiting Co Clare on a short break. Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.

Comfy family friendly environment. Service was great! We enjoyed our meals. 1/2 order of ribs with slaw and Penne Pasta with chicken. Dessert was an apple fritter with vanilla ice cream. Delis.

We actually ate there 3 times. Have the ribs when you visit.

The owner is a really nice man. Everyone goes out of their way to please their guests. The food was fantastic. The prices are reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

Add to the Irish list of amazing eateries. Full Irish out in under 5 minutes. Bread and butter. The works.

Extremly cozy little place, fast and kind service. We were here before noon and only had a coffe and scone which was still warm when they brought it out. The breakfast menu is short but has everything you would want, although i didnt try them they looked delicious and very irish

Beautiful, cosy Bar and Restaurant. The menu was excellent. Hugh portions. Very reasonably priced. Food was delicious.

Loved Danny Mac’s. Got to meet Danny Mac Jr, who came to our table and gave us our food to give the waitress a hand. Everyone seemed to know him and he greeted everyone cheerfully. Daughter got hamburger, husband had ribs and I had the chicken fingers (which are called something like Chicken Dojas in Ireland) and everything was great! Especially the fries. Service was fast, place was clean, everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Definitely a fun, family-friendly place to go for dinner. We were bummed that we only discovered Lahinch at the end of our vacation, bc it seemed like a fun place to spend a day just walking around, shopping and going to the coast to see surfers and sheep in the same area.
