We stumbled upon this place when in Castlebar. Its offers dine in and takeaway. We were lucky to get a table as the place was so busy. I had the fish and a curry chips. The fish was crispy, not greasy and not dry, it was the nicest piece of fish I've had in a while. The curry sauce was proper chip shop curry sauce. My husband and daughter had the Donna meat and chips, they picked what sauce and salad they wanted on them and they both really enjoyed it. We will go back when in the area.

Good food, no waiting and plenty of seating available

Danolla's is my go to fish & chip shop. It's a must each time I'm in Castlebar! The fish and chicken are lightly battered and taste delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I also love that when you post about them you get a discount too. Very creative marketing tool! Cannot recommend enough if you live or are passing through Castlebar!

Danolla’s in Castlebar is absolutely fantastic! The portion sizes are generous, the quality of the food is always amazing, and it’s excellent value for money. You can tell it’s a very well-run establishment — everything from the service to the atmosphere is top-notch. Highly recommend!
