Darcy's Bar in Galway

11/08/2025: Very good food with a good atmosphere but on the other hand the wait is not possible!! Waiting 40 minutes for 3 burgers and a salad is ok but not 20 minutes for a brownie. And the room was not full.

03/08/2025: This is a Galway Bay Brewery pub. For many years they were plentiful in Dublin however that’s changed in recent years so it’s nice to go to one of their original pubs in their home county. The disadvantage of been a craft beer drinker is that you’ve had everything on offer already before you drink in these places. The one beer I wanted to try is the tap in picture and unfortunately the barman said they only had one Keg of it & there was none left. I went for a brown ale in the end. I can’t comment on the food but I’ve had their food many times over the years in the late Against the Grain.
