Dela in Galway

I found this place while deciding where to have brunch during my day trip to Galway. To start with the conclusion, the staff were very friendly and nice, but I should have ordered the Eggs Benedict or pancakes instead. I was debating between the Mushroom and this one, but since it came with a poached egg, I ordered this one. It was really tasty, but the egg was really, really bad. The yolk was a runny yolk that was almost fully cooked, and the egg white had a chewy texture due to the egg white skin, which wasn't good at all. The fries were just okay. The cutting was also poor, and they were fluffy, so if you're planning to order the mushroom toast, I think ordering a drink is a must! I saw some Korean reviews and decided to visit. I really loved the service—it was warm and thoughtful. But the food was a bit disappointing… Did I expect too much? 🥹 The poached egg wasn’t really poached—the yolk was almost fully cooked. That said, the mushrooms were nutty and had a really nice texture. I actually enjoyed that part.ᐟ.ᐟ They(on review) had eggs Benedict with bacon, I think! If you want to try something, go for it—or get the pancakes 🥞

This was our favorite breakfast restaurant of our entire 10-day Irish road trip! The butterscotch pancakes were outstanding! Highly recommend trying this place, everything was delicious!

Lovely food the veggies are absolute fabulous didn't know you could do so much with courgette. Highlight was the miso caramel lovely portion size for sharing the salty balance with the sweetness divine Well worth a visit would advise after 7 as we arrived early and was quiet buzzing when we left.

What a beautiful place! The food is excellent! The breakfast burrito is really good; I ordered extra bacon, which turned out to be cubes of ham. However, the server (the only man on the staff) answered my questions rigidly…as if they were stupid. He was rude, and it made my experience much less enjoyable. Was he just having an off day? Maybe, but I shouldn't feel that way when I spend my money in another country. I hope he'll adjust for the good of this wonderful restaurant. The other waitresses were great!

Great time at Dela! Enjoyed our food and our servers were so friendly, kind & super patient too. We were so confused about what to get as the menu looked sooo good- our waitress was so helpful and did not make us feel rushed at all even though it was a very busy day at the restaurant. Food and coffee was amazing! Would definitely go back.

Great brunch with lots of good veggie options also. Breakfast burritos were delicious! Coffee is very good also.

Great for Irish breakfast and for family gatherings. Some good vegetarian options.
