I have been visiting Galway for a few years now and I’d been meaning to go to this place for sometime. Never got the chance till recently.
My lord, I am kicking myself for missing out till now! Marvelous food, excellent friendly servers and a cool, calming atmosphere that makes you feel welcome.
Place is small and can get filled up quick. So ideal to arrive early on any day of the week to ensure decent seating.
Food was served fresh and well prepared. I got the deluxe meal
Fried chicken served with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, crispy potatoes and the most glorious pancakes filled with jalapeños.
The dish was perfectly well made. Good presentation too
Hope to try one more round before I depart. Thanks very much to the staff and cooks here. They deserve all the praise.
Prices do reflect the product. Working in the Industry, I get that things unfortunately have increased in price. Here I don’t feel it’s excessive. They serve good quality food and the price is more than fair.
Thanks again!

Visited here for the first time the other day and had the buttermilk chicken bene and it was delicious. Really nice flavours and well balanced. Also had a mocha which was also very nice. The staff were very friendly, and service was good. I look forward to returning.

The buttermilk chicken sandwich was amazing, especially with a margarita! Also had to get the butterscotch pancakes to share after seeing amazing reviews of them 🤩

Great food, unfortunately selfish me wishes that less people know about this place so there wouldn’t be a queue. They don’t take reservations

Gorgeous brunch here. I’ve eaten here many times over the past few years. Today, I had the mushrooms on toast and my friend had the bacon pancakes. It was gorgeous, had a lovely conversation with the owned (I think) when finishing up, a gem in Galway city.

Comfortable and cosy dinner here on a wet Winter's evening in Galway. Food was great - fresh and very tasty. Portion sizes good aswell. Service in particular was excellent. It shouldn't be rare to have an enthusiastic, informed server but it is. Recommended.

What an amazing place to have a Sunday brunch! We went there yesterday around 1, there was a queue, and we could tell why after having our meal. The staff were very friendly and efficient and let us in after 20 minutes. We ordered their Veggie breakfast and butter scotch pancakes and it was just too good, especially their pancake, it was heavenly and so moist and flavourful. My wife thought it was the best pancake she ever had! Caramelised onion chickpea tofu had so much flavour. If I would be in Galway for another day, I would have gone again to Dela!

Went here for brunch and I really enjoyed it. The staff were nice. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon and tea. The staff were lovely. The place was clean and it was easy to find.

The cafe opens at 9:30 and we went in 9:40. As we arrived not many tables were free which speaks for the restaurant. It nicely decorated in an modern antic style. It has approx. 15 tables. We were seated and the menue card was given. We were asked what we like to drink and we ordered coffee and tea. What ever happened the tea and coffee came very late. If some more time would have beed passed we would even had eaten the breakfast.
I had a vegetable breakfast and my wife cranola and yoghurt. In particular my wife portion was big and looked very delicious. My breakfast as also good I liked the really fried potatoes.
So a very good place for breakfast which i could absolutly recommend.
