I was a little disappointed; I don't know why it's so highly rated. The menu is limited, and the food is nothing special. It's certainly not a place where I'd wait in line to get in again. The service isn't particularly friendly either, and they even charge extra for the sauce, which isn't even that great.

I had breakfast here with my best friends and it was incredible. The ambiance, the food, the way they treated guests—everything was a 10/10. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. The butterscotch pancakes were absolutely amazing (in the best way!). The vegetarian breakfast was out of this world… I will remember this establishment as a highlight of my stay in Ireland. Thank you so much!! P.S.: The coffee was perfect too.

07/09/2026: I had a great experience at 56 Central in Galway! The staff were really nice, friendly, and managed everything very well, even during the busy times. The restaurant was quite busy with tourists, but the service was still well organised. The food was amazing overall. I had the Irish breakfast, and everything was delicious, although the bacon was a little overcooked for my taste. The burger, however, was absolutely amazing! If you’re visiting Galway, I definitely recommend stopping by 56 Central. It’s a busy and popular spot for tourists, and for good reason. A must-visit when you’re in Galway! 🇮🇪🍔

22/08/2026: We had a large table for a 50th birthday dinner. The staff were very accommodating! The food and service was excellent. Highlights were the Sautéed prawns and the Lobster Risotto.
