Visited during my stay in the area and I loved it. A tuesday evening and the place was hopping. Great atmosphere and really good food at reasonable prices.

A busy local spot with a great atmosphere! The service & bar staff are always very friendly & welcoming. The menu is comprehensive with a taste of something for everyone. The food could be described as homely, like something you might put together at home. We cleaned our plates all the same & happy to get a sitting. Be sure to book if trying to get any sitting anywhere on a Friday/Saturday evening.

Great local pub with exceptional food. Well worth a visit and there is a daily specials board, that actually changes regularly. Double smash burger is my go to, along with the short rib. Both exceptional.

An excellent family lunch in Donnelly’s. Lovely food, excellent service & warm welcome. Good value also, a very good children’s menu very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Amazing place - staff were great! Fish and chips were the best we’ve had on our trip with homemade batter! The meat pie was incredible! Highly recommended stop!

18/02/2026: If you're coming on weekend, I recommend to book a table in advance. Food is delicious and served quickly, there's a broad variety of wines to choose from. Staff is very nice and helpful. There's an underground car park at the back. Dimmed light and music in the background add on to the atmosphere of this place.
