At Donnelly’s of Barna, I tried the Galway Bay Seafood Chowder, and it was delightful. This thick, rich soup paired perfectly with traditional Irish bread, making the dish especially hearty. The chowder became the true highlight of my meal at this cozy café!

Nous avons dîné 2 fois dans ce pub, tellement c'était bon. Le fish and chips est succulent, le rôti de boeuf (le dimanche) aussi, les saucisees de même. Le tout est servi par un personnel aux petits soins et, chose rare, on peut boire de la Guinness 0.

We came in for lunch midweek and found a friendly welcome, they open at 1300 but welcomed us in before.
We had starters and mains for lunch which were very good - the chowder starter is excellent- loads of fish and served with good quality bread.
Fish and chips was good a large serving and would probably not order both - too much for me! The fries were fine, think they were oven cooked as opposed to deep fried.
Would definitely recommend- phone to try.

They do allow dogs and have a pet section so if you are bringing them it is advisable to book a table. The food was excellent we were there on a Sunday so very busy but the staff are really efficient and very friendly. Good choice on the menu and they cater for allergies. Parking can be a problem

Nice family atmosphere. Good, straightforward food. Fish and chips ordered by most at our table. Flavorful, not greasy. Chowder was particularly good. The muscles were a nice, unexpected garnish.
Friendly, unobtrusive service.
Parking can be tight.
