Donnybrook Fair in Malahide

Dropped by the cafe here on a saturday morning. Was fairly busy but managed to get a table. Unfortunately after ordering and taking a number our food and drinks never arrived. After nudging the staff our food arrived, but then no drinks. Ended up having to take the drink to go.

Five star for chef! I’m leaving this review to highlight the hard work of the chef at the back. He’s preparing all the food, doing all the wash up work, wrapping everything up and handling everything with care, even running the orders to the tables and cleaning the dirty tables that costumers are waiting to use. I have to say, he’s a star! Girls are chatting, slow and leaving coffee orders on dirty tables. Even after seeing our table full of dirt, she didn’t clean it up so, the chef did.

Beautiful shop and cafe. Prices can be high but there is a nice range of quality food to choose from.
