Dooley's Hotel in Waterford

Excellent weekend there with 21 in our group. Hotel had lovely spacious rooms. Food excellent and the personal touch from owner and all of the staff was exceptional.

The hotel organized a special dinner for our group, and the chef personally came out to greet us and shared the bread recipe - that's some serious hospitality right there! Just stayed one night but was impressed with this hotel. Very helpful staff and rooms were very spacious and clean.

This is a best location to stay, very near to prime places to visit and bus to airport is just in front, easy to catch bus and travel to tramore and Dunmore

Super 3 star Hotel, excellent value. Although not many extras and frills, the rooms are large, clean and warm. Good large bed. The best experience are the staff, absolutely super, in the lounge, at dinner and at breakfast. The dining room is large, beautifully presented. Very impressed, would highly recommend. Parking is opposite the hotel, offering both long and short options.

Although a mix up of arrival dates occurred, the hotel itself was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

2 adults and 2 kids stayed for 3 nights. There was an error on checking in that our room was short a bed but this was rectified and no issue made. The food in the bar was beautiful. The breakfast each morning was also very tasty. I think the highlight of the hotel tho is the friendliness of the staff, especially the gentleman in the breakfast room each morning. His friendliness and professionalism was top class. We will definitely be back. The only negative was having to pay for parking for the 3 nights we stayed.

The room was spotless and everything was just perfect. All the staff were so friendly and polite. And the breakfast — absolutely incredible! It was honestly the highlight of our stay in Waterford. €15 for such a delicious breakfast is amazing value. Trust the reviews — this hotel is truly fantastic!

We stayed in dooleys for the bank holiday weekend. We were a group of 7, 4 adults, 3 children. From the moment we arrived, until departure day, the staff were extremely helpful. They had "our" table assigned each morning for breakfast, the restaurant manager couldn't have been more helpful, he was chatty and humouros with our group. The bar staff were always pleasant and very polite, there was never an urgency to remove children from the bar at night. The food was lovely and always presented well. Each night they had a singer in the bar, which provided a mix of music. Hotel was in a great location, right in the middle of the town. Within a 10min walk to the city centre and all the shops. Plenty bars, restaurants, and shops. Rooms were big. We had a family room. 1 double bed, 1 single and a fold up bed. Each morning the room was cleaned and restocked with towels. Stayed in room 22. The room maids were always polite and welcoming. Overall the staff at this hotel couldnt have done more for us. All staff made us feel very welcome. Always polite and welcoming. It had a very warm friendly, family atmosphere. Would 1000% recommend this hotel ❤️
