This was our first time to stay we were there with our dog oscar everyone so friendly and helpful really enjoyed our stay there will be back for sure

I had the best hake I have had in Ireland, it was perfectly cooked and presented. My husband had wonderful seabass. It was great staying at Doonmore and Andrew was very helpful collecting us from the ferry. We shall definitely return

Absolutely loved our recent stay in the lovely doonmore hotel. We were two families with 5 kids between us and couldn't fault the service. The kids were as welcome and looked after as the adults. The food was exceptional quality and the music in the evening was great. We spent each day cycling over to the beautiful beaches and had the best holiday

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Nowhere in the world like it. Rooms are newly renovated and beautiful. Food is too notch and entertainment in the bar is even better. Music every night during the Summer Months.

We had a fantastic 2 day trip in Doonmore Hotel, great location, excellent service and lovely food. Indeed I would like to mention Eala in particular who looked after us for dinner service every day. She was very friendly, engaging and so helpful. Surely a great asset to the hotel. I would strongly recommend staying at Doonmore next time you visit Inishbofin.

UPDATED 2024 - Just spent 5 gorgeous nights in Doonmore with my family. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, they are so lovely. Food was amazing as always and incredible talent in the bar! Taking a trip to Inis Bofin and staying in the Doonmore is like taking a step back to a time when everything was more relaxed, life was simpler and you are forced to stop, breathe and take in the stunning surroundings. The food in Murrays (The Doonmore) is by far the best on the island. Andrew and all the staff are always incredible (even offering to tumble dry my clothes and coat after getting soaked on aa gorgeous walk in the rain!) I can't wait to return again at which stage hopefully the music will be back too, where it belongs!

Absolutely lovely place for a break on the way round beautiful Inishbofin. We tried the fish and chips and seafood chowder (all very tasty!). The service was really efficient and friendly (thank you Shannon). A nice pint of Guinness too!

If Inishbofin isn't enough of a treasure, then take a walk to Murrays Doonmore Hotel. The welcome is generous and genuine. The Guinness is great. And if you're not a fan of company, just sit by the fire in the bar and complete the crossword that's kindly placed on each table every morning. This was my second time staying here. The rooms are well set up and the beds are really comfy. I noted the TV but really, in such a hospitable place I never use it. Good weather is not a given, but the cosiness of the bar is. I like nothing better than to sit by the fire and look out at Nature whipping up a storm and planning what delicious food I'll eat for lunch or dinner. Their menu is wonderful. The breakfast is outstanding and the service is really good. What are you waiting for?
