I recommend a visit to the college both for the lovely walk amid the university's greenery and for the very evocative internal quadrangle. The oldest part dates back to the mid-19th century.

23/10/2025: This is a wonderful restaurant in downtown Cork that I visited on a local's recommendation. The unique interior, with its high ceilings, was immediately impressive upon entering. Both the shrimp appetizer and the steak entree were delicious.
14/10/2025: We had our wedding reception for 120 people in Jacob’s on the Mall, and from our first meeting with Katie to walking out the door when the wedding day was finished, we experienced nothing but stellar service. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the food was incredible and we had a truly unforgettable day. We wouldn’t change a thing. The staff were exceptional and all our guests have been raving about how great a day it was. Seamless from beginning to end. We can’t thank you enough!

05/10/2025: We just had a lovely meal here, very tasty! We were looked after very well by the manager, he is so nice and friendly. Would definitely come here again
04/10/2025: The food here was super delicious and the service over the top. The owner Tanya was really polite and kind. Warmth from the owners adds a special touch to the experience. We tried aloo tikki, dal tadka and tandoori roti, everything was scrumptious. If we come back to Ireland I will come back to Mirch Masala
