Great pub on the square has music in season. The services are excellent, fast, efficient, welcoming, affordable and friendly. Great pint of Guinness too, go for it. Makes such a difference when the staff are so professional. Met Kay, Tommy and Shane last time down. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. We will return soon. EJ's is not to be missed when visiting Clifden

Fantastic Irish Pub atmosphere, a delicious pint of Guinness, outstanding and friendly service. The local mussels from Killary Fjord and the Irish beef stew were a great complement to each other!

Nice bar type food but a bit pricey for bar food.large portion wings contained 11 half wings with a sauce o n side. Fish, n chips disappointing, especially with frozen chips and cold mushy peas. Staff nice n friendly.

Went here for lunch and dinner as we liked it so much. Had big tvs to watch the Olympics that was on. The ham and cheese toasted sandwich was delicious 😋.

20/08/2024: Love the coffee here and the breakfast bagel with bacon, relish and cream cheese really hits the spot. Cafe hosts some beautiful artwork to ponder if you find yourself enjoying a peaceful solo lunch date.

11/11/2024: In the heart of the town of Clifden is a nicely kept well presented cafe/restaurant come B&B. The room was spacious clean and came with all you needed. The breakfast was a lovely traditional irish fry that keeps you going for the day. Teas/coffee for all tastes. In the evening the menu really catered for all tastes but Tappas and pasta a must to sample.
27/10/2024: I had a fantastic experience staying at Ivy Clifton near Galway. For just 110 EUR, the value was incredible. The breakfast provided was delicious and a perfect start to the day. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a TV and reliable hot water. The entire place was spotlessly clean, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Galway – it truly made my stay enjoyable!
