ELY WINE STORE in Maynooth

Excellent food, great wine, fantastic helpful staff & a great atmosphere.

Had an amazing dinner in Ely maynooth yesterday. The staff & food could not have been better.

A beautiful setting with fantastic food, but the service was a bit lacklustre. Amazing location and the layout of the restaurant is fantastic but the service felt as if it was a chore for them to deal with us. Came as a family for lunch and even drinks took 15/20 minutes to arrive. I believe there was a shift change halfway through and there was a noticeable difference in quality of service but the food was amazing and I think that makes a big difference. Assumably it was just Saturday morning and long hours that led to the poor service but this restaurant could be fantastic and it is a welcome addition to maynooth, definitely recommended especially if you’re overstimulated by the other non pub-grub options.

Cosy, delicious and family friendly

Visited Maynooth for a wedding and booked ELY for the Friday evening. Four of us were eating and I have to say what an amazing place. Food was delicious and service was absolutely superb. If we were ever visiting again we would 100% visit again. What a fantastic place. Thank you.

Love a coffee here at the weekend. Great selection of wine and food

Great coffee spot and sweet treats. A particular favourite is the gluten free brownies, muffins and madeline's.

Here for lunch on Saturday recently. I had the eggs and avocado on toasted bread and it was delicious. My friend had the fish and chips and honestly the portion size of the fish was ridiculously small for the price. Service was first class and ambiance was very good.

This place is cute, the staff is great and the food is awesome.
