Great small plates - best calamari we've had for a long time, really tender. And the scallops were also great, plus the burrata. We were given helpful and knowledgeable adive on the wines, as you'd hope in a wine bar. All in all a very good dining experience

Lovely place , gorgeous decor, amazing staff and a lovely place to eat and have a few drinks. Perfect place for a date or to go with friends and family. Food is so yummy

Had a lovely experience there on Friday. Asked one of the staff for some help with a wine purchase. She was more than happy to help. She went out of her way to make sure i got what I wanted, even though it was visibly busy. She was so kind and personable. She recommended that I come back again for food so I absolutely will. Food looks lovely but iv never tried. I asked her name as I was leaving but not exactly sure… olive or olivia. Anyways lovely staff here and will not hesitate to come back.

Great service, staff are very friendly and efficient. menu is super, we enjoyed lots of different seafood and the lamb dish , lovely wines and nice atmosphere , we will make this our fave local spot

A fantastic find in Maynooth. We stopped into Ely Wine Store after visiting Carton House and it was the perfect way to finish the day. Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional wine selection and delicious food with really warm Irish hospitality. If you’re staying at Carton House or exploring Kildare, this is absolutely worth a visit. It feels like one of those hidden gems you’re delighted to discover.

Phoenix Restaurant

17/07/2026: The cafe at Teeling is my daily ritual with our cockapoo Charley. I can't say enough about the incredible staff and outstanding coffee. I've never had a daily coffee (& dog treat routine) that now feels like a community. Whoever is doing employee recruitment finds just fantastic people! Dogs are not only welcome here but will feel lots and lots of love.
17/06/2026: I'm a regular here for coffee and a sandwich for lunch as I live around Newmarket Square. Prices are very reasonable and the coffee is very good, a winning combination! The staff are always friendly, positive and good to chat to and really keep me coming back, they are an asset to the company.

Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club

10/06/2026: Shoda bistro was great for lunch. The pools were excellent great facility and very clean. It was great to have a choice of and adult only 20m pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room and a separate large family pool with all the facilities too. Treatment rooms and a spa, unfortunately we didn't have time to try the spa but next time we will be booking a massage. Good attention to detail. Staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to be happy in their work. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting Dublin. We travel from Doolin in West Clare and it is very handy not to have to stay in the city center. The hotel is only 40 mins into the center so very easy.
06/05/2026: Very friendly staff in all the areas of the hotel. Room was nice and clean with a Teepee on the family room for our child. Nice kids club and pool. Nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
