Everett's in Waterford

A standout vegan dining experience at Everett's. We reserved a 3-course vegan menu a day in advance and were impressed by how smoothly everything was handled—from prompt email confirmation to accommodating our request for a high chair and space for a stroller in a cozy setting. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Drinks arrived quickly (the Irish Old Fashioned is excellent), and every vegan dish was thoughtful, creative, and clearly made with care—far from the uninspired options vegans often encounter. What really stood out was the effort to include vegan guests in a true fine-dining experience. It felt considerate on a human level, not just a menu checkbox. If you’re vegan and comfortable dining at an omnivore restaurant, this is absolutely worth going out of your way for.

Food was great, service generally great and staff very polite but used side plates were left blocking up the table and water wasn’t refilled without asking /coats weren’t taken etc.. small things that didn’t detract from a great meal overall. Could do with turning up the heating a little!

Ate here with 2 work colleagues on a stayover in Waterford and it was the perfect place to eat after a long day working together. We ate local scallops to start, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! Mains were shin of beef and the Wicklow venison, all dishes well cooked with smooth and tasty mash! Desert was a delice, the thick and crunchy dark chocolate ganache, this could have done with a bit more ice cream as it was a healthy portion. Service generally good, even with a large group downstairs the team managed to get our meals out relatively quickly. Atmosphere was OK, not quite sure how this could be improved on due to the layout of the restaurant. I would definitely return to Everett's when working in Waterford again!

Absolutely fabulous food, very professional staff and the atmosphere was 5 star

Beautiful food, in such a lovely setting. We had the scallops and crab to start, john dory and beef for mains, and the flavours were excellent. Someone in our party is on a strict dairy and gluten free menu, and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommend.

From bread and butter to carb meat, fish and dessert, everything was delicious

Food was absolutely delicious, beef was to die for, enjoyed every morsel. Service was friendly but professional and on an extremely busy evening, the staff handled everything in a calm, efficient manner. We live in Dublin but would find it hard to beat Everetts in terms of fine dining at such an affordable price. Thanks to all the team for making our evening so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back

Best meal I've probably ever had , braised beef is amazing ,absolutely unreal and the apple mousse puff pastry was out of this world , how do they get the flavour of 100apples in every bite. 10/10 looking forward to our next meal here
