Another great experience at this family friendly hotel. Food top class, service excellent with lots of staff on duty. Hard to beat for a family celebration. Large outdoor seating area that gets the sun all day.

The ambiance and room were OK, but the shower couldn't be adjusted. Only the bathtub was available. Breakfast was delayed. At night, the light on the two stairs in the room was constantly on. This really disturbed our sleep because the two motion detectors, one of which is right near the bed, switch on as soon as you move the covers even slightly. After entering the breakfast room, several containers were still empty. Ambiance and rooms so far O.K. However, the shower could not be regulated. You could only use the bathtub. At night the light on the 2 steps in the room was constantly on. It really disturbed our sleep because the 2 motion detectors, one of which is right near the bed, turn on as soon as you move the duvet a little. Delayed breakfast. After entering the breakfast room, several containers were still empty.

I cannot find anything to fault in this hotel. The rooms were warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent, beautifully served and reasonably priced. An added bonus is the local production on their own land of many food items. The facilities are second to none. Spa and thermal suite are partnered with both hair and nail salons. The pool area has a separate health suite and there is an excellent gym. The decor is rich, luxurious and romantic with an abundance of flowers and lights. The grounds are immaculately landscaped and there is a children's play area, a fairy trail and a small animal zoo. The hotel has an incredible record with sustainable practices. Above all the staff were outstanding in friendliness, courtesy and professionalism.

Excellent hotel , lady & young man in breakfast on Tuesday 28th Jan , we’re an amazing example of 5 star service and we’re lovely and friendly dinner was also excellent service. The music on Monday night was great over all amazing thank you !

Fitzgeralds Woodlands Hotel is the best of the best. We recently had our wedding there and from start to finish the professionalism was second to none. Every single detail was thought of, nothing was a problem and every one of my guests felt relaxed, comfortable and looked after. David Fitzgerald and his team should be rewarded for what they do. They are the elite in wedding planning. The staff in every aspect of the hotel were fantastic. Every single one of them that we met throughout our stay were incredible. The hotel is a 4 star but their service is 5 star. The hotel has this incredible homely family feel to it. Our bridal suite had a twin room off of it which was ideal for our little girl who we had with us. We didnt have to worry about her being completely separate from us. We just love spending time there and to have our wedding there was extra special. I highly highly recommend them for your big day. You will not be sorry.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service & real homely atmosphere. Have eaten many times lately in the restaurant here & it has always been top class with excellent service.I would thoroughly recommend a visit & will definitely return.Lovely outdoor playground for kids & great Tree house area serving food ,ideal to spend a day out with kids.

Without doubt the best location for any occasion.....weddings, family parties, or get2gethers, like the one I attended last eve 11th Jan. Started at 5pm with meet n greet, then mass, then drinks reception, and then a scrumptious meal. 140 friends approximately, great staff,no problems catering. Highly recommend this venus
