Finnegan's in Galway

We had two dinners during our stay in Galway. The dishes were well-prepared and plentiful, typical Irish, just like the restaurant. We were very satisfied!

Had our first Irish breakfast to kick off our holiday; it was delicious. The restaurant is located in the city center and easily accessible on foot.

Great old pub, good sized meals

Cash only was a problem and the food was only so so..overworked staff was good but....

A nice restaurant with delicious Irish food! The service is good and quick, and the place is well furnished with pictures of famous Irish figures and the tribes of Galway. On our Ireland trip, we wanted to try out some beef stew and shepherd pie. But every time we tried the local places were packed and busy lunch or dinner. While in Galway google recommended Finnegans to us since it was least busy, rated highly and closest to walk to. We were happy to have visited there met others enjoying their lunch and we loved our lunch here. Highly recommend it to everyone. Our waitress said its been there in that location from 1859! Wow!

Small pub but very typical as we like them.. super good traditional cuisine....and affordable prices....I recommend it

I was pleasantly surprised by the food! The menus were reasonably priced and delicious. I recommend the stew; it's the best I've had in all of Ireland.

Locale molto accogliente , piccolo , caratteristico , si mangia bene e si paga il giusto. Consigliatissimo se si è in più di 4 persone conviene prenotare. Signora gentilissima

Dans une déco originale (cherchez la ferme 😊), la promesse d’une cuisine traditionnelle irlandaise est tenue. Le stew de bœuf à la guiness était excellent et réconfortant avec la température qui avait baissé ! Le poulet kiev a été cependant moins apprécié. Le service était un peu suffisant, c’est bien dommage.
