Finnegan's in Galway

Nice change from fancy or fast food . It's quaint not sweet quaint, cozy place to meet and have comfort foods and beer. Prices are very good Quality of food was very good and tasty. Food was hot and fresh. Locals were eating there also!!! Don't forget to tip the waitress, they work hard and are very good.

Very friendly and efficient waitresses

Our party of four arrived without a reservation and were seated fairly quickly. It's a nice small fairly traditional spot. The food was decent, 2 of us had the fish, chips and mushy peas, someone else had goujons and another had Kiev. We also had beers and a bottle of wine between us. The chefs didn't fail, the food was as I say decent. The waitress, well she was not a bit friendly, quite the opposite in that there was quite the grumpy, verging on silent aggressive vibe from her. There was no friendly feel to her manner whatsoever. We discovered all four of us felt the same once we left the restaurant. The fairly decent food wouldn't be worth a return visit to be honest. Sorry to the chefs but front of house let you down.

Traditional Irish pub. Good food. Service is good. Good music. Fish and chips is divine.

I had a blast. My boyfriend and I each had a main course and dessert menu. Main courses: Shepherd's pie (I loved the slightly sweet sauce) and Irish stew cooked in Guinness (you could taste the bitterness of the Guinness, it was very good). Desserts: homemade apple pie and cheesecake, both served with whipped cream.

The food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie and the Salmon. The atmosphere feels a bit worn, but it adds to the place's unique charm. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

The portions are super generous and the food is really good. The atmosphere is very local, a little cramped, but the quality/price ratio is excellent.

Such a cute small restaurant to enjoy a homemade meal at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is really cozy and it has a local vibe to it. I had a the shepherd's pie which was delicious. I would recommend a visit, it seems better than other touristic spots

Dans une déco originale (cherchez la ferme 😊), la promesse d’une cuisine traditionnelle irlandaise est tenue. Le stew de bœuf à la guiness était excellent et réconfortant avec la température qui avait baissé ! Le poulet kiev a été cependant moins apprécié. Le service était un peu suffisant, c’est bien dommage.

Recomiendo encarecidamente Finnegans para el desayuno, siempre fresco y una gran relación calidad-precio, nuestro ir a cada vez que visitamos Galway!
