Fishy Fishy in Kinsale

Decent food, felt a bit expensive. Not a must visit. .

There was a little bit of a wait to get a seat,obviously high demand, but it made absolute sense for a gorgeous day on a bank holiday weekend. The staff were incredible, tenantative and it felt luxurious. You were always taken care of. The food was fresh and tasty, I had the fried haddock! Dessert was a great addition to the end.

Very good restaurant, worth the price. Friendly welcome. Remember to book.

This is a restaurant for older people who want to eat dinner at 5 pm. The servers are all young people who have no concept of service. The ambience is dated. The food average. Suggest The Black Pig and Man Friday ten times over.

waited a long time, the contingent of people is yopis, the fish is not tasty, the service does not match the prices. very disappointed, although we came on recommendation

Excellent fish of all sorts, next to the harbour, close to the tiny but colourful heart of Kinsale - so lovely, so good!

I discovered this restaurant through an Ireland documentary. I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. First-class fish menus, excellent wines, and a beautiful and friendly atmosphere.

A very ok lunch with no real issues, just wish the menu was a bit more extensive. A good example being mussels on the advertising but none on the menu. Also very limited fish dishes for a supposed fish restaurant, overlooking the harbour! Having said that the 3 fish and chips and 1 fish pie ordered were all excellent, so no complaints there! Service was good although a bit pricey for what you got, although maybe that is just Ireland!

Excellent friendly service and a lovely simple lunch with an excellent soup and delicious smoked salmon The home made bread is worth the stop alone. Sticky toffee pudding everything one hopes for and an iced apple wine to top it off.
