Fishy Fishy in Kinsale

Stopped in for lunch during a day trip into Kinsale. What a wonderful lunch we had. The Fishy Fish pie was outstanding. One of the best dishes I've had in months. I highly, highly recommend this dish.

Food was delicious. The scallops we had for starters were out of this world for flavour! A lovely restaurant with great staff. We will definitely be back! :-)

Great restaurant for seafood lovers We came here for dinner that didn't disappoint. We started with the crispy potato skins which I thought were excellent. I had the fishy fish pie and my wife had a Caesar salad. Both were very good. Nice restaurant for dinner without the noise of a place that is more bar that food. Great service.

I totally recommend this place for a gourmet experience. The ingredients used are definitely of good quality. They offer you an amazing Irish stout bread with butter to open your bud tastes before you receive what you've ordered :) I had the crab claws (to taste) and the yellow fin tuna served with basmati rice and a sauce ( sesame, soja maybe honey) I enjoyed it but I wished the chef did not put so much sauce with the rice as it was overwhelming. I mainly ordered it for the tuna and I was not disappointed. Nota bene: my partner had oysters and they were milky.

Had a really great lunch today at Fishy Fishy in Kinsale! They came highly recommended from the Bar Manager at our hotel, and we traveled down to Kinsale from Cork, just to check it out! The food was very good! We started off with the potato skins, before moving on to the Baked Local Lobster and the Lobster Linguine, all of which were delicious! While we didn’t have any drinks, their drink menu was quite extensive!

John Dory fish was excellent and lobster soup was also excellent.
