Fishy Fishy in Kinsale

We followed the recommendations of the guidebook and we were not disappointed; we enjoyed the scallops, the bay oysters and the excellent lobster; pleasant setting, attentive service; just a suggestion for the restaurant: bring bread other than sweet bread

One of the best fish restaurants in ireland

Great first dinner in the area. Scallops were fantastic, monk fish was nice and the location is perfect.

A very ok lunch with no real issues, just wish the menu was a bit more extensive. A good example being mussels on the advertising but none on the menu. Also very limited fish dishes for a supposed fish restaurant, overlooking the harbour! Having said that the 3 fish and chips and 1 fish pie ordered were all excellent, so no complaints there! Service was good although a bit pricey for what you got, although maybe that is just Ireland!

The best place to eat in Kinsale. I had the fish pie and it was lip smacking good. And loads of it. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. Nice selection of wines too. Not too pricey either. Lovely staff.

Fishy Fishy is a top class Restaurant , Had a cocktail to start , Bar man Sam made a perfect cocktail , Fish and homemade chips were beautilful .

Had valentines dinner food was absolutely amazing staff were great desert was lovely will be back again monk fish and oysters was great and the trifle was unreal thanks lads

Our group was looking forward to our meal at Fishy Fishy ever since watching the episode on Somebody Feed Phil. The owner greeted us, but was not particularly friendly (was much friendlier to Phil :)). We ordered oysters and crispy potato skins for the apps. The oysters were inedible but the potato skins were great. I had the best baked lobster I've ever had, the other folks liked their scallops and fish and chips. Cocktails were good. The service was adequate but definitely nothing special or friendly.
