For the second day of our wedding celebrations, we chose Flanagan's on the Lake, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Geraldine, Mark, Daragh, and the entire team were not just professional; they were an absolute delight to work with. Their dedication and attention to detail were evident in every interaction, from the initial planning stages right through to the big day itself. As for the food, we opted for a BBQ during the day, followed by some delectable finger food in the evening. Let me tell you, the food was nothing short of spectacular! What a place and what a service. Maureen was a star. Nothing too much. The bar never seems dated. Check out the top shelves for some really interesting whiskey options. Then talk to the barmen for the cask whiskey be guided by them, some really nice tots. The food was well prepared and presented. Relax enjoy the views of lough Derg, the cruise boats come and go. They're almost always full so book ahead and whilst you wait enjoy Flannigans on the lake.

Surprised at all the great dishes and expensive. The Turkish waiter was fun and full of life. Made it a great time and had wonderful suggestions for food. Had the salads, Guinness Pot Roast, Fish and more. All was fresh and fun. Worth checking out.

Ideal for having a Ginness on your terrace....taking advantage of the fact that I had some splendid days of sun.

Excellent restaurant/bar with very good food, excellent service, and a fabulous ambience and atmosphere. The linguine was a very good choice as was the lamb burger., beautifully presented and both tasted excellent. Good wine, good beer what more could you want.

Excelente restaurante. De los pocos que se consiguen en Irlanda con espacio y mesas separadas. El personal es extraordinariamente amable atento. Servicio muy rápido. Calidad de comida bien presentada. Relación Calidad precio excelente. Precio algo más elevado que otros de la zona pero vale la pena. Totalmente recomendable.
