Awesome restaurant, great food, great staff and quick service. Highly recommended for veggie pallets too. Suitable parking spots around the village and walkable distance from anywhere around the village and the ferry port incase you wanna enjoy the boat ride. Food was tasty and good portion.

A lovely location in killaloe particularly when the sun is shining. The plates we received were dirty and had to be returned. The service was decent. However the biggest downfall of this restaurant, was the pricing. 2 pizzas with a dip sauce, 4 colas and a portion of chips for almost €60?! Extortionate pricing. Of course we were aware of the pricing beforehand and is not unique to this restaurant that has this extortionate pricing as many restaurants in modern Ireland is the same, but compared to other European countries it is extortionate. Subjectively, 2 pizzas which were standard pizzas nothing special, 4 colas ( which were not even a can of cola and the quantity was less than a can) and a portion of chips should not cost more than 30 euros. This is the nail in the coffin and I will not be eating out here again due to the high prices.

We went to Flanagans for lunch Sunday 3rd August last. We were a group of 10 including adults and children. The young lady who took our order (I think possibly the Maitre’d) was so lovely and helpful and incredibly knowledgable about the menu given that we had a coeliac in the group. A couple of minutes after our arrival the electricity cut out. (In the whole area) We decided to wait it out in the hope that it would return. The staff checked in on us frequently to see if we still wanted to wait as they weren’t sure when it would return. After some time the staff then asked us if we would be interested in barbecued burger with salads (as they had access to a barbecue outside) saying it would be “rough and ready” in comparison to their restaurant food. It was delicious! The vegetarians even had goats cheese salad! All in all a wonderful service from Flanagans! The staff were all so professional and pleasant in how they handled the power cut and catering for us. Highly recommended place to eat out.

Brilliant food and service today as usual. Portions are always very good and prices are standard. Always busy and despite this, you’re always served quickly. We had Sarah as our server and she was great. Fish dishes were unreal esp the tartar sauce and portions. I’ve also had the vegitarian pasta and pizzas before which are great too. Thanks :)

Can always get a seat undercover outside in the summer. Food was good. Parking can be tricky nearby. Good views of the old bridge. Sports on TV . Table service. Teryaki Lamb was excellent with loads of wild mushrooms. Very tastey. The nachos dip was disappointing. Just chips with liquid cheese poured over. And 2 plastic tubs of dips. See photo. Might as well get a bag of cheese and onion instead and save €11.

Great spot. Really nice pub with lovely staff. Had a few drinks in here and the even though the staff was very busy they were quick an took care of us. Nice inside with loads of seats and also has a lovely area out the front on the lake looking at the water.

We had dinner in Flanagans for two birthday celebrations. The food was delicious. We had four different mains all so tasty. The staff were so nice,very chatty. Would highly recommend it if you are in Killaloe.

We had a nice lunch here yesterday. Had the wings, which were nice and a beef burger and a chicken burger, which were really good. Staff and service were efficient and friendly.
