We used the restaurant for dinner. We received a friendly welcome and didn't have to wait. There was a menu with something for everyone. The food came to the table fairly quickly. It tasted quite good. The price was reasonable, too. We spent about 45-50 minutes in the restaurant. We skipped the main courses because the menu was quite extensive. There's also a separate ice cream menu for dessert. All portions are also available in children's portions.

Lunch was pleasant, Service was good, The table dining height, rather than drinking height and the lighting was good enough to see what was on the plate. All in all quite good.

A fabulous experience all round. Gallys was absolutely packed today so there was a lovely atmosphere. I had the roast of the day in a baguette - what a treat! Service was superb. Had a lovely waiter who was so friendly and the food came out super fast. I’d highly recommend Gallys.

MJ's Diner

13/06/2025: Today was my first time at MJ'S. I ordered a burger and homemade fries and curry sauce. I ordered food on the spot. After ordering, I sat down at the table to wait for the food. In the meantime, cleaning started around me (I was an hour before the restaurant closed). They started vacuuming (a great feeling and smell when the vent is pointing in your direction). Imagine my surprise when I got the food packed in a bag. When choosing the bag, I said that I ordered on the spot, but after they started cleaning the restaurant, I didn't feel like eating on the spot. I decided that I would eat in my car, parked near the restaurant (I must point out that I hate it and usually don't eat in my car), and here again, surprise, because in the bag, apart from the food, there was no salt, tissues or fork. As for the food, I liked the burger and I think it would be even better if I didn't eat it in the car. The fries were ok, but not my cup of tea. The curry sauce was ok, but I prefer it a bit more runny. This one was too thick for me. Much too thick. I doubt I'll go back there because I didn't feel well served there.

The Junction Bar

08/07/2025: Fantastic place!!! loving the HP/rock and roll/jungle theme. The wide menu has something for everyone, great value food, we had the best pasta and pizza, lovely staff, will be back again for sure :)
03/07/2025: The Junction, Clonmel – A Breakfast Worth Getting Out of Bed For The Junction gets one thing very right: it cooks like it cares. The egg arrived with whites just set and a yolk made for dipping toast—not the sad, overcooked puck you find too often on steam tables. The black and white pudding were standouts—rich, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with respect. Sliced potatoes hit the sweet spot too: crisp edges, soft centres, and full of flavour. The plate came together beautifully, with each element pulling its weight. And the coffee? Strong, no-nonsense, and served in a mug that felt like it meant business. Add excellent service and a room with just the right amount of bustle, and you’ve got a place that makes the Full Irish feel like more than a fry-up. The Junction doesn’t just fill you up. It wins you over.
